I have an RN4081 and wanted to clean the atty using a dry burn, so I took off the cart and blew on the "wrong" end (where the LED light is). Is this a good idea? There was a sizzling cracking sound from the atty so I stopped immediately. Is that supposed to happen? Sorry if these are stupid questions but I want to make sure.
Yup, that is how you do it if you don't have a manual battery.
I assume that the better you blow out the atomizer first, the less sizzling and crackling there is.

Also, I'm assuming you've already read the thread about doing dry burns.
But if you haven't read it yet you really should do so.
