Dry burning a Vivi Nova,,,,,

so I just discovered vivi novas,,,,

love them!

I vape a LOT, so I decided to dry burn my head today (and I figured I really needed to figure it out, so I watched a couple you tube vids and went at it),,,,,,

cleaned the whole thing, put it back together and dry burned it,,,,,,,,it tastes great, and the vapor is even better!

but I have a few questions,,,,,

1)How often do I need to dry burn? I vape about 20ml a day of 70PG/30VG 0nic, generally sweet but clear juice.

2)and can I dry burn BEFORE I even use the head? because the vapor on this thing doubled after I did,,,,,,,,,is that normal??

dry burn a dry unused head can be bad. you could burn the coil before you ever use it and render it useless. 20ml a day is extreme. I dont know anyone that uses that much but you can take a flashlight and look at the coil and see if it is gunked up. just take the cap off and you can see the coil. Also I dont know what video you watched but it should have said something about the coil wire turning red. If you dry burn it too long or when it is not needed you can burn it up as well. I would say depending on what juices you are using at the time you will have to make it a judgement call. You will be able to tell if it is in need if the coil wire doesnt turn red right away when you try to fire it up.

Yeah, I pretty much chain vape,,,,,,,,,,20 ml a day,,,,,sometimes more, sometimes less,,,,,it's a good thing I DIY. And it's also a good thing I do NOT vape nic.

I dry burn mine every few days. I've got a few in rotation now. I use a magnifying glass to see the gunk. I have never dry burned a new replacement head and don't think I'd advise it. 20 ml a day? That just seems impossible to me. I go through about 6 ml a day and think that is high.

20ml a day, I thought I was vaping too much, I'm not even close to that.
Glad you asked, I just got a vivi v-fate 3.5 & 2.0, I love them so far, I'm gonna have to try dry burning them soon. So much good Vape from them already...even more would be super awesome!
