I do it every time I rewick, not for long though. I've never had a problem with it but it can make your coils brittle. But hey, kanthal is cheap right?

after two or three tanks in the russian I'll replace the cotton. Pull it apart, rinse, pull the old cotton, dry burn the coil and give it a few strong 'snuffs' like I'm blowing on the dirfday candles. Replace the cotton and refill.

Why: Flavor is mo bettah.

Conditioner is bettah!
