I don't often get dry hits. But, when I do, they are so bad that it will ruin my entire vaping day or perhaps couple of days. Once I get a dry hit every vape tastes like it's full of black pepper or pepper juice from any device I have. About the only thing I can vape at that point is plain VG.

How about you? Does it affect you that way? Or, how do you recover from it?

I clean my atomizer. I use an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner I picked up on Amazon. It only vibrates for about five minutes and it does an excellent job of cleaning. My preferred method is rinsing it, one session with water, one with vodka, then blow out the water using lung power both ways and let dry. Most of the time I only use water, though. It tastes like new again!

I use the Sonic Wave. Mine still works well after three years. The button covers came off, but that has not affected use. It has made opening the cover a bit more difficult though. When I got it, it only cost $15. I looked on Amazon and the price has risen.

FYI, if you use a painted atomizer, the paint does flake off atomizers in little bits from the power of the vibrations because it is so effective.
