So I haven't posted on here in FOREVER, but I thought I would share a recent experience with you guys.
I just got into sub ohming and gave my evic to my Bro in Law. I picked up a Troll RDA and a Smok Xpro M-50 upgraded to 65w (and this little thing is surprisingly a beast).
I got tired of dripping at work so I pre-ordered the Lemo 2 so that I would have something to vape on all day at work, but I got impatient and paid a stupid marked up price at a local B&M for a Subtank Mini. The flavor on it was good and all on the RBA deck when I didn't get a dry hit every other hit. I re-wicked that stupid tank over and over and over to no avail. Finally my Lemo came in and it was a god send at first. I was using a 70/30 juice and it was hitting like a freight train. I went through two tanks with this juice and decided to dump a new flavor in. This one was a 80/20 blend.
I noticed that I started getting occasional dry hits with this too, and I was starting to get super agitated and I was about on the verge of giving up on sub ohm tanks until I came across Rip Trippers pancake wicking method. If you guys haven't been doing this, then I definitely recommend giving it a try. It actually made me appreciate my over priced Subtank and kept me from rage throwing both tanks into my neighbors garbage disposal (as I'd hate to damage anything in my house).
So...long story short, the pancake wicking works great and I've yet to have a dry hit with either tank. I haven't had any leakage either which is also a huge plus.
