You may need to adjust your draw technique. Vaping is not exactly like smoking.

You may need to do some "primer puffs" occassionally to keep the wick/coils saturated. Just suck on the tank without power applied. Thicker e-liquids (with a higher vg content) are not as easily absorbed or moved to the coil, so they need a little assistance with the primer puffs.

This is a common issue with new vapors until they learn how to use their particular device. Not all tanks are created equal, nor are all coils created equal. The Nautilus and Aerotanks have a pretty good reputation if they are the genuine article. However, you may find a different model/brand works better for you if your results continue.

Vaping is a journey to find what works best for you.

What Baditude said. I had the same problem when I first started to vape. I was hitting it like an analog and juice started coming up through the drip tip. I was like huh? Talked to a friend of mine and told me that hitting a vape is alot different than smokes. He told me to draw slower to give the liquid time to atomize and it would keep my hits from gurgling/dry hit/flooding. Hope this helps. From that day on I only run into small problems with my coil and I clean it and gtg. I have made coils last 3-4 weeks. That's not bad for $1.49.

60/40 pg/vg. And I tried all the airholes.

60/40 should wick fine, that was one of my old setups, aspire mini nautilus bvc with 60/40 juice , that was fine for me upto about 12w. As others have said , you might just have to perfect your technique or get a higher nic level so you dont feel like chain vaping as quick.

Is that vape hq juice by any chance, I know thats a uk 60/40 mix and what i was using at that time.

Actually, thinking about it, I accidentally went a bit high on the iStick tonight (I use it on Volts) and did get a dry hit with a mini Nautilus using 60/40.

Have you tried setting your Istick to VV mode. IIRC the Istick uses Mean regulation. My experience with using mean in a vw device was very much like your issue.
My new Vamo, which only had RMS regulation (according to the published propaganda), would provide burnt vapes with the wattage at minimum (3.0w).
I was ready to return it until I found it did indeed have RMS mode.
