Dry mouth is common with vaping. Both PG and VG are humicants, that is they draw water from the surrounding area (and in the case of vaping tissue). The best way to treat dry mouth is to drink a beverage while vaping.

That said many vapers have a tendency to dehydration, due to the PG and the VG, and as such it is recomended that new vapers especially but vapers generally, drink a good deal of water. I must stress that it needs to be water, not soda, not tea, not coffee...water.

I've found that I need between 3-5 liters of water per day to not have dry mouth or worse symptoms of dehydration depending on the weather, humidity and other factors.

Agree with everyone! Drink plenty of water, someone reminded me recently that if you feel thirsty, you are already dehydrated. So, water with you when you vape and plenty extra during the day. Also, cutting back on pg will help. I react badly to vg (most people react poorly to pg, but for me it's backward-go figure), and I've been able to cut down to 70/30 pg/vg and even have some 50/50 juice that I can vape that doesn't affect me too much. Good luck and WELCOME! Glad to have you here on ECF!
