Hello, Sorry if this was answered before but I could not find a concise post through the search. Can anyone explain to me how to tell the difference between DSE801 and RN4072 atomizers? I have several different ones that fit both my DSE801 batteries and my Janty Stick V2, but have very different characteristics and cannot tell them apart!

Thanks!

Look down inside the atomizer. If it is an 801 you will see a point that sticks up, if it is an RN4072 it will look like a semi-circle and be much lower down.

If you have both be careful because the 801 will push the cart filler up and if you switch tot he RN4072 it won't make contact any more. Be sure to pull that batting to the top if you switch between the two types.

I only buy RN4072's (usually from Totally Wicked). My average atomizer lifespan for 801's runs between 1 day and two weeks. My RN4072's last months. The one I am using now is over 3 months old.
