That mod is getting bad reviews. I guess I'll skip that one.

Really? I've missed that. I wondered about it though. I read a few posts in the suppliers forum when he was developing it. He said he was working the "bugs" out of it. Guess he should have called Terminex.
Wonder if it's the regulators. There's a range of quality to those things from what I understand.

I like the title of that thread too. It's also very true. I never touched a soldering iron before I made my first box mod. I did spend a day reading and watching videos about soldering techniques though.

Well you have already given me more advice here than anyone and it has helped me greatly. If anything you just helped me eliminate a possible lemon.
