So i ordered a DSE901 from this site yesterday (first ecig), and i saw that it comes with 4 cartridges. are these blank? or will i need to order separate, blank, cartridges in order to smoke after the first 4?

Also, i've heard a lot of people talking about their atomizer dieing relatively fast (not specifically from this site). should i go ahead and order another one now? or would i be cool if i just waited until i run out of my first 30-ml bottle?

Thanks,

-phil

Never fear, I'll toss a few extra blanks into your order. Have some I've been trying to get rid of :p As for the atomizer, it's luck and how you treat it. If you're constantly vaping with an empty cartridge they will obviously burn out faster.

Life Span of an atomizer can be anywhere from 5 days-60+ days, it just depends on how you use the device :p

I'd probably do well with mine then. i'm one of those people who tend to refill things that arn't empty >.> i'd probably carry my bottle of e-juice around with me anyway.

how big of a mess does one of those make if they were to break in my bookbag while walking around campus?

Sorry mate, I'm right up against PA, and a few miles away from WV :p Can't get much more SW then me :p

Ah, thats cool. sucks to hear that i'm probably going to be getting my e-cig a few days before i get my juice =/

Would have ordered from altsmoke, but i wanted a camel taste alike with a high concentration of nicotine.

Knowing Rob just a little, you'll have you e-cig by Tuesday. I ordered mine on a Saturday and had it by Tuesday and I'm in Washington (state). The four carts that came with my 901 were 0mg tobacco flavor. I didn't care for the flavor and I wanted nicotine, plus I wasn't real sure about the PG. Every time I tried them I would start coughing, so I rinsed them in warm water. When they were dry I put the cart material back in the cart and filled them with my 18mg amaretto. I'm so loving it. I keep all four carts filled with it. I have some other flavors that are coming soon and some dripping bottles so I can make my own. I'm using a 2:5 flavor to 18mg unflavored VG. I started with 1:5 and am inching up the flavor. Didn't want to start with too strong a flavor.

does pretty much everyone dilute their juice? i see plenty of people talking about it on this site. i guess i'll wait until i see how i like my initial smoke (probably won't be getting the juice i ordered till a few days after the e-cig)

where do you order the pg at to dilute it?

Well I guess I can tell you, since they finally opened. I got mine pre-opening from Juicy Liquid. I bought the VG. I had a poor reation to the PG in the carts that came with my 901 (from Rob at Alt Smoke - definitely NOT his fault) so didn't want to take any chances. I purchased my first bottle in the strength I wanted and used the mixing bottle to mix in the flavor I got with it. However, I figured if it's the same price for the stronger liquid, I can figure the math for cutting it with Glycerine and adding my flavor. It's really very easy to mix your own and if you can do mutipulcation and division, you can cut your own.

MissJaaxx at Juicy Liquid referred me to Rob at AltSmoke for my first e-cig.
