dse901b Carts

I've noticed their seems to be 2 styles of carts. One is all black and one is black with a maroon "cup" for the filler. It seems like the 2 piece with the maroon cup works a little better. My question is, when I buy carts how do I know which is which? Is there a model number or something. I'd like to get the 2 piece ones from now on.

jkhristian - That is too funny b/c I actually like the all black with the D shaped cup. lol

I am not sure if there is a model number for them, but you can send any potential supplier an e-mail to inquire. That is what I plan to do when I need some new ones.

You may be right. It may be just my imagination since I just got some of the 2 piece ones and started using them for the first time.

There is actually 3 that I've seen, but if you consider all the clones of the 901 you would probably find some crazy mouth pieces.

RN4075: Two piece, black and brown/red top portion. Thick Whistle Tip
Old DSE901: One piece, thin whistle tip, slit for a hole.
New DSE901: Bigger cartridge, thicker whistle tip (similar to the RN4075), has a reservoir to catch juice.

You can also use the (bigger) 510 carts with a 901/4075 atomiser

and then add the 510 cart to the 901 atomizer and then add it to the kr808d-1 (dv9) batter

I'm not a big fan of the maroon ones, they seem to get loose or don't fit tight to the atty after a few top offs and I like to top off often. I like the D shaped ones they seem to stay snug fitting till I toss them. I have never had the old 901 carts so I can't comment on them.

Now I will have to try the 510 cart on my 901 atty and see how that performs I'm always looking for the best performance I can get.

I'm a fan of the black/maroon ones...they feel a lot more secure clamped between the teeth and I have fewer lip/juice confrontations. Having said that, I haven't tried the third type.

I could not get used to the whistle tip... gave me headaches. Got round 901 carts (only come in tan so far) from EliquidPlanet and they are round inside too... but have a D shape where the stuffing goes so they fit a LOT of juice and vape like the D shaped carts. I really like them.
