In 2012 I was inhaling MTL
vaping 24mg juice (
NETs) on 1.8 ohm coils @ around 10 watts. The atty I used had a
really tight airflow and it took about 7 seconds to get a
decent amount of vapor. By 2014 I was inhaling DTL vaping 12mg NETs using 0.8 ohm coils on a mech mod (
~25 watts). The attys I used had better airflow but were still pretty restricted compared to what we have these days. At that time it took perhaps 4 seconds to get a good amount of vapor. From 2016 to the present I still inhale DTL but vape 6mg NETs on 0.4 ohm coils @ 55 watts. I no longer use Mech mods, vastly prefer regulated for higher voltage and consistent power throughout the battery's discharge cycle. The attys I use now have far more airflow than I need, even with the airflow dialed back it only takes 2 seconds (
exerting very little effort) to get an adequate amount of dense vapor and I -
really- like that. Flavor and intensity are stellar, life's good.
I've been inhaling DTL the last four years and can't really tell any difference from a health perspective but that's just my experience, YMMV. MTL -or- DTL, which is best depends solely on the user's personal preference. Whichever style floats your boat -
is- the best style in my book.
