Dual 18650 Battery Holder question

I am building a SX350 in a Hammond 1590B and going for dual Sony VTC5's. I am looking for a good looking good battery holder where i can mount both in there and solder them in so to keep my 3.7v, the only holder I am finding that would adequately work (in my opinion) is the Keystone 1049.

I would shave off the bottom of it so that I can mount it flush, and then i can solder the positive and negative terminals together from the top and bottom which is no problem as the chip will be side mounted and can run the cables over there without any problem.

Is there any other recommended holders out there for 18650? All the other ones look like too much of a pain in the .... to rewire and i want this thing to look real good inside and out.

Think I replied to this from you in another thread, but the Keystone 1048 is the best you can get for a dual battery holder.

The Problem with the 1048 though are those flaps out of the sides though. Much easier to remove those on the 1049

Way too big for a 1590B... Thanks though..

The place i buy my batteries said that there are no holders in parallel as it is too dangerous. So this kinda makes me think to get a 1590G and go 1 battery

They are a good company and explained the reasoning and it makes sense. The batteries if not the sane age or same exact charge can damage one another. Spoke with a bunch of mod builders in the German forum about it too and now gonna just drop one 26650 keep power in there with 5200mah and 20a
