Dual 18650 mechanical mod!!

Hello everyone,

So I am looking to build a paralell 18650 mechanical mod, I work in a machine shop so I have access to any tools that I need and a good friend who is an electrician so I have the resources and now I just need the guidance. I can build a box but may just buy one due to it being cheaper and less time consuming. So for starters I would like to have a led voltage meter inside of the mod, an on/off switch and a switch that will hold up well for low sub ohm builds. So I would love an estimate of the .id I need for the box.
For my 510/contacts what would need to use? I can make a 510 myself but not sure how to integrate contacts into that, also would it be possible for me to use a 510/contacts from an existing mechanical mod that I own?
So if anyone could help me out with a parts list and a diagram of a simple build like this it would be greatly appreciated.

I am surprised you haven't got any hits on this post. This is something I am very interested in also.
Changing battery less often in my mech would be great!
But I have a question for you I know running batts in parallel will double the mah. But do you know if it doubles amp limit?

it does double the amp limit as well. But the cells must be balanced in voltage, and voltage curve as the battery declines in its charge. So the batteries have to be kept identical through the use of this type of mod. Which means buying 2 batteries that are the exact same at the same time and only using them in this mod.
