Stick the two batts inside to get the weight close to actual mod weight and then see how it is comfortable to hold, considering leverage. Your hand will likely be in the middle, wherever your thumb ends up is where the switch should go. Probably it would be in the extension piece about half way up. You don't want your index finger curling around the threads or the hex for any extended period of time.

What is the dual tube thing in the background, upper right hand corner?

Thanks for the advice ^.^ I bought the extension for the switch. But when I put it all together I started getting second thoughts.. (can't figure out a good way to mount a mechanical switch sideways. Any ideas?
And le dual tubing is my fathers. He wants to recreate a brass mod posted here on ECF.

For the insides it could be something like seen here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/260516-copper-tube-mod.html For the outside you have an advantage as you can use a flat side of the adapter so you don't need to match the contour of a tube. Basically the switch housing holds a gap between the positive from the batteries and the positive to the atomizer. The button closes this gap.

No worries, I hope to see more pics soon, of both mods ;)

The GG has an isolated post on the bottom and a side button that makes contact with this post and completes the common ground. By design it rather has to be by one of the ends and wouldn't feel so balanced in a longer mod like this.

Nah, not even close. Tinear is a mentor for sure. I wonder how he is doing now and how he has progressed. He's probably moved on to stealth vaping, 'you push this button and it speeds up your electrons, both you and the mod become invisible, only the vapor will be seen, but you can hold it in for a few ticks.' :)

I dunno asdaq, he does/did phenominal work and was a leader in mods (just like you), but his quantity pales in comparison to you're output! AFAIK he only made a handful of mods: sidewinder, mAhmba, Fang, mAhmba2, and "The Bob" (which essentially was what everyone now knows as "The Kick"). Am I forgetting any?

Then there's Cisco, Nuck, Scottbee, Highping... (I'm sure a handful of other Mod Gods I'm forgetting off the top of my head) and you fit right in there with them!

So quit selling yourself short and go finish up the mod your making for ME!!! :p
