Hello guys,

It's been a while since i started using my smok AL85 and i have a pair of LG HG2 batteries, they were bought in the same day and have been used and charged alternately.
Yesterday my Vaporesso Revenger arrived, and i want to know if i can use my old batteries that have been used alternately, at least until my new pair arrive? Would it be possible? or too risky?

Thanks

First, kudos for keeping an eye on the safety issue.

Next, if the batteries have been used about the same amount of times - that is to say rotated through - and the same number of charge cycles you should be safe using them as a married pair in your Revenger. If one has been more heavily used than the other, you can still use them but get a new set as soon as possible.

They are not exactly the same number of chagers (i may have made some mistakes) but they don't have much differences.

Battery marriage isn’t really much of a safety issue afaik. It’s mosly about even wear. There might possibly be some safety stuff with severely unevenly worn batteries in some mods but you’re not going there anyway.

I've made some reseach over the internet, and people talk about it as it is a dangerous thing. Better safe than sorry =)

The Revenger is a pretty decent mod. It will let you know if there is a problem i.e. badly mismatched capacity batteries. Were it me, I would mark the two batteries you have been using solo, order a new pair and relegate the original two to solo use after the new batteries came in. Why not get the most you can out of that new mod.

I think it would probably be okay for a short time (and if you are fairly sure the batteries have seen similar wear). It's kind of one of those "ideal" situations to have married batteries and sure you can use those for a few days until your new set(s) arrive, as really, that is the "ideal" situation, I'd probably save those batteries for continued use in single cells honestly, if you are still going to use single battery mods. It's just that too uneven (and I'd say, probably especially for too long) may not be so great for mod and battery, but I doubt that you'd see much problem provided it's not for a lengthy period of time.

If it were me, I might wait, but I genuinely think that if they're similar batteries, with similar wear, you'd be incurring little risk. I think battery marriage is a great idea, generally, but there can be occasional exceptions to that rule, provided you know what you are doing/ your battery status and it sounds like you pretty much do.
