Dual Coil Advice

So I've been using dual coils on my Igo for quite some time and I can't seem to find the right balance. Right after the build one coil will glow just slightly less than the other. It's fine at first but within a day or two I start noticing that when I go to drip, one wick will still have a good amount of juice on it while the other is close to dry. I can mess with the offending coil to make it work for a little bit, but it's constant maintenance after that. Any advice?

Build a good single coil at your desired resistance

Get identical resistances, or this will happen to some extent.

You will have to mess with the coil to make it work right or it will continue. Make sure the legs on the "bad" coil are the same length as the good coil. You are going to have to dry burn and mess with it until it works.. Otherwise stick with single coils.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought it might have something to do with differing resistances. I've been experimenting with micro coils and it seems a lot easier to get matching resistances with those. I got my first set on and they're firing quite nicely. Thanks again.

I stick to micro coils because I can get them more consistant. Works better for me

you can try twisted wire for dual coils. I have twisted on several of my atty's and work good. but I also have a regular dual coil thatI have been using for a week or two and it still fires at the same time but they are nano coils.

I wrap two wires side by side as if it's one wire. I like that better than twisted but there's not much difference.
