Hello everyone.
Decided to give a little back to the community after tons of post scrolling.
This was my first dual coil on a genny using 3/32 7x7 ungalvanized ss rope and .5 ribbon wire, sheathed with 3mm hollow torched ekowool. Dealing with the knobs is a pain in the toohus with ribbon wire and is nearly impossible as a single man job imo lmao.
It was so perfect... A week later, my new MNKE batteries came in and i decided to try going from this .8 ohm coil to a .6 ohm for some stupid reason. I guess the crusted coils and black wicks got to me?
Nonetheless this is my rebuild now, still came out to a .8 ohm coil. I am not very satisfied with the vape/wicking/clouds/flavor right now, but i am HOPING that there is actually a break-in period with this ekowool so that my OCD doesn't kick in and make me spend another few hours rewicking..
I am hoping this new build comes up to par with the masterpiece i ruined.. didn't realize how hard wicking it was til the second time around - mustve gotten lucky with the first one.
