Anyone who pays $15 for these things is making the rest of all of us pay more as well, I mean cmon there the same dam thing as a regular carto but a very small change of how the coil is made with one more small wire. With that said there is NO WAY I'm paying $15 for a box of 5 cartos, especially when good Boge cartos can be had for $0.80 each ordering from Eastmall or other suppliers right from China. Not for nothing but new product is happening all the time and you really gotta pay through the roof for it these days, I use to do it but no more, now I wait a good month or so until it's proven and the price comes way down and now I'm saving and also not buying things that aren't any good. These cartos are OK, I have used one of them but not worth $15 for 5, not even close in my opinion, I have to say hold and if we all do the price will drop and drop by a lot.

I'm a Boge 2.0Ω carto guy too, but I've been curious to try these dual coil cartos. The price tag does seem a bit steep for a carto though. I'm able to get a good 5-7 fills on the Boges before the performance starts to drop off, but because the dual coil cartos are two 3.2Ω coils in parallel, I assume that they won't burn out as fast so that might soften the blow of the price tag. But like you, I'll probably hold off on them for a while.

Hoosier has them for two bucks each instead of three. And, at least one person has ordered from China presumably at a substantial discount.

And, i think you have it backwards. If no one buys them, the manufacturer will presume that there is limited interest in the product and will not continue to produce them. Pretty much every "latest and greatest" starts out with a premium price tag. If there is significant interest, then there will be significant supply.

My opinion of them is different than yours. I received my first box on the 25th of last month. I still have one in the box and two in rotation. They are a superior product. Just the fact I haven't been able to burn one even when trying to is enough to say that they are better than any other carto. Since I can chainvape them at 6v and get it them too hot to touch - but the flavor remains good and vapor production above average, and they last for at least several refills.... I think they are indeed more valuable than any standard carto. I don't know if I would buy more than a few boxes at the current prices, but I liek the ones I have.

They also have a 15% off sale right now too (check the supplier forum). I just took advantage of it.

I do want to try the 2 ohm Boge cartos as well.

I really like these dual coil cartos. It's getting closer to no maintenance than any else I have tried. Just fill them up, screw them on a battery, and away you go. Vapor and flavor are consistent from start to finish. 1.8 ml of juice per carto lasts quite awhile. I can go out the door with just one battery and two cartos and it lasts me for hours. Nhaler has these cartos at $12.00 a box of 5. That's acceptable to me.

WOW, Price came down already, not surprised.!!1
This is why we all have choices Six, it's not so much everyone not buying them but the original hoopla that is created by a new product and vendors selling that product at double or triple the price tags of what they should sell for, they deserve to do this and they will and people will spend there money to buy them, just not me, I have learned the way to go now in my 3yrs of buying vaping product. I have purchased more new product than many will ever purchase, price ALWAYS comes down on Cartos after there intro, show me one that hasn't, $15 for 5 cartos is a total rip off ( my opinion only of course) but cartos sell for $0.80 and even less if you do a little bigger of an order, these really have no more build to them than a regular old carto that makes them worth $3ea or even $2ea again in my opinion, even though there a good product, if people backed off price would come down, it always does when product doesn't move or Boycotting a product, not that I'm saying to boycott them at all, there a good product, but I see a total taking of advantage of the consumer on this one.

I've Dissected one of these at the vapefest sitting with Issac and together we looked at them. The tiny little wire inside of these that runs up the filler from the element does not make them worth $3ea in any way shape or form no matter how good or bad they are. Mark my words, in 60 days or less they will be under $2 and maybe ordering from our friends on the far east side of the pond only $1 ea or less.! I and many others have plenty of great gear to make the wait and will :)

I sprung for the price for one pack, just to try. I just can't resist almost any new atty or carto, to see if the reviews and problems reported have any validity. I'll DIY my own juice, and the savings are enough to cover a new <xxxxx>.
Never been to keen on cartos with filler but these are nice, the only carto / atty I've tried that have a warm vapor without destroying the flavor, no burnt taste.

Ordered a coil of nichrome wire with them to see if I can put a double coil into a CE2 to use in my Smoke Tank. A double coil always made sense to me, best way to make use of Ohm's law for parallel resistances.

but $30 for a map tank is ok?

Seeing it is the cheapest 5ml tank on the market ? I can vouch for that, however, now I don't even like those anymore so I wished I had held.! I think the CE2 sucks also ( again just my opinion ) I switched up everything now to 5-6v vaping using the new Iken HV-510 Atty's on all of my bottom feeders and dripping. it is a much better vape to me, All LR stuff is to hot and why simulate HV anymore when we now have these Atty's that don't get hot using them on HV, the LR stuff burns up my liquids as well as a maptank and the liquid getting all turdy and turning dark from recirculating burnt liquid in the tank as hot as they get, again, why simulate when you can have the real thing. It's just a personal preference we all have them, but again $30 for a tank that holds 5ml or so, heck the closest you can get is a gg set up tank for around 125-140 so dam $30 is more than reasonable to me for a 5ml tank IssacClark

For just a few dollars more, you can get a feeder system and use attys that will last much longer than any pre cut Ce2.

mwa, a tank costs $3 to make as was posted in the Modders subforum. Shan sells them for $12 10mL Tanker - 2.4 ohm

Works just as good if not better. Sure they're made out of a different material, but it functions exactly the same ;)

I bought into the Map hype... bought two of them, and sold them after a week or so.. Don't like the Ce2's at all & totally agree with your opinion about the juice inside the map tank! :)

I'm using Ikenvape's V2 Gold cartos now for $1.80 or so a piece, and they're way way way better than a Map Tank. Same with IKV's HV 306's.. They're the best. Got some 801 Fusion's coming along with some 302 atty's.

Anyways, if I'm going on a road trip I pack up my Reo Grand no need for a Map tank xD

Have to agree with IC. I'd rather fill a couple cartos to cart with me, than to pay 30 for something I may not even like. The C2s didn't impress me at all. I like to buy all the new gadgets as much as the next person, but not if it's in the 'price gouging' range (jmho). I bought some tank attys. Yep. Paid too much I'm sure. What with the reviews they've received. However I did buy them from the classys...so I saved a little there. We're all different, even though we all want perfection, there are differences in what that perceived perfection is... So hopefully the market will continue to improve on the products and not just become a massive collection of things that 'mostly' work.

And don't forget the $5 per pre-cut carto the map tank uses...

Well, you have to be fair on that. A box of CE2 XLs is no where near 5 bucks each even considering a buck ninety-eight for a pipe cutter. There isn't anything special about the CE2s COV sells for the MAP besides that someone already spun a cutter around them and slipped off the tube.

the irony here is the complaint leads to interest--at this moment i am still favoring the boge 2.0 and still like the ego cartomizers somewhat more reliable than dripping at this point as i seem to have bad luck with 510 and 306 attys and burn them out at a rate equal or greater than cartos which are so much cheaper--the most expesive side trip i've taken is the ego tank---jeez try one atomizer for 11.95...or even $15 with shipping etc. 5 for 15 starts to sound good. people on here swear they have gone months with the same atty but i've never had one last more than 3 weeks. i have had cartomizers last a week
