I ordered some dual coil cartomizers and some CE2 cartomizers from My Vapor Store for use on my V3 running at 6 volts. They both burn vigorously :(. Could somebody, anybody, give me a website or a product that has dual coils or is like a CE2 that I could use on my 6V without instant burning? I'm so very lost..

PS. Is 3 ohms the minimum resistance I should be using for 6v..? If not: What is?

Thank you very much, I appreciate any answers..

Neither?

At 6v wouldn't the so-called sweet-spot of vaping heat be up around 3.8-4 ohms? I do not think you will find Dual coils or CE2 that high.

IMO get yourself a variable voltage device to you can choose a voltage appropriate to the atomizer or cartomizer you are using. The problem with 6v is it severely limits what atomizers and cartomizers are usable. Alternately - is there a way to reconfigure your PV with a shorter tube and different or fewer batteries to have it be a lower voltage?

Yes. I could get a single 3.7v battery to replace my two 3v RCA123's. But then I would also have to get a charger for the new battery - gets expensive. I just had some dual coil cartomizers from Hoosier E-Cig about a week ago that worked beautifully at 6v. The only drawback was that they were clear plastic, and the tubes would break after being in my pocket for a short while. There MUST be some alternative!

Check this out.. Here is where I get confused!!
SmokeTech Low Resistance Dual Coil
This says that I could use that cartomizer on a 6v rig. What the crap?!

I would not buy there. They don't even list the ohms.

I don't know - it's beyond me. People claim all kinds of miracles from those dual coils. You can try it. I would be surprised.

These people are using pretty low cartos on 6v

Dual-coil Cartomizer

Actually - the 1.5 dual coils are two 3ohm coils so you have to think of them as 3ohm cartos - they draw too much power to be used on slim batteries, but won't burn stuff the way a single 1.5 coil would.

Sounds doable I guess based on those things though I think the 2.5ohm dual coils (2 5ohm coils?) would be easier to make work for you so if you have trouble with the 1.5's try the 2.5's.

My carto tips - the carto has to stay damp everywhere. That means the juice has to be able to flow and they have to be well-filled to start with (18-24 drops of juice per ml of capacity) then allowed to settle so every bit of stuffing gets damp (I lay the carto on different sides for 15-20 min with thin juices). Then you need to keep it damp. I now only use juices with 20% or less VG in cartos. Some people say they can use thick 100% VG in dual coils. If I was you I would practice with thinner juices first.

Some people have tricks fro filling those dual coils. I don't use them so I don't know.

For some reason I can use a 2.5 ohm dual coil on my 6v but not a 2.5 ohm CE2. Odd..

Yes the dc 2.5 ohm is what you want for hv use they are great. They have them with 3.5ml clear tube these tubes stay on much better then the xl plus hold more juice. You have to serch for them but worth it smoketek.com has them waiting for new shipment. He also has ss 2.5ohm -2.5ml them tubes will stay on.Sweet-vapes.com also has the 2.5 ohm 3.5ml and they have great juice. The dual coil are seeming to be the best cartos arond likes the 2.5ohm best.Nhaler.com also has a wide range in differant ohms cost more there though.
