I swear these types of tanks are making me nutty. When they work, and don't leak everywhere they are hands down one of the most pleasant attys for me to use, especially when I can't drip. But thats the thing, when and if they work. I've got a orchid v3 and a fogger v5 and out of the handful of builds I've thrown on them, its been completely hit or miss. I can get my kayfun up and running in no time, but I hate the tight draw,and I can nail some decent intermediate builds on my drippers (twisted, parallel, zipper). So for those of us using these dual coil tank devices successfully and regularly, share your thoughts;

1. Coil high off the deck, or lower to the airflow hole?
2. Wicking material to prevent leaks through the airflow, rayon, cotton, silica? thinned out, narrow tails or more of a bushy tail?
3. Inner diameter of coil? I've been strictly using a 7/64 (approx 2.77 mm)
4. juice consistency (50/50, high vg to pg, high pg to vg, or max vg {my preference for most applications other then the kayfun})
5. And finally, the biggest pain, the juice channels; stuffed with wick, wick just touching the top of the channel, or a few strands into the channels?

Lastly, if any of the atty makers are reading this (I wish) would it be so difficult to just raise the airflow holes above the deck in a small tube or some such? There was a magma thread a while ago where a gentlemen slipped in cut down syringes into the airflow to prevent leaking, something like that would probably work pretty well, especially for the decks with higher posts like the fogger v5.

I have 3 orchids,2 v1's and a v4 and have never had any issues with leaking.The way i do my coils and wicks,is i keep my coils roughly 1.5-2mm above the airholes,i wick with rayon,thin the tails,leave a very thin tip,and tuck that tip about a 1/4 of the way down the channels.I have used 60pg/40vg,50/50,40pg/60vg,and 30pg/70vg and never any leaking or dry hits with this method.I have heard people say they get leaks if laying the orchid on it's side,but i lay mine down all the time and have not gotten leaks that way either,i left one on it's side for a week and never lost a drop.
