Got some dual coils a short while back and started using them. Liked the clear 1.5's the best as they seemed to work better than the other black ones but did use both. a few days after using them i got what the dentist said was a kanker sore inside my mouth and the place it was at just hurt like hell. Ive never had one of these in my life and never wanted another. After about 5 days it went away but i could feel another one coming on on my tongue and another on my inside top lip. I was at the beach on vacation now it this was really messing up my eating out and enjoyment as it made my whole mouth hurt. It did not click until the end of my vacation week that the only thing i had changed was using the dual coils because i wasnt eating or drinking anything different than usuall. So i stopped using them on friday of last week and the sores i had have cleared up today monday and no new ones are coming up that i can tell. So i will definately be trashing these cartos. It really sucks to because i really liked them and their performance. Whats really weird though is that No other cartos have ever done this, guess its back to the regular boges for me though. Anyone else ever had a problem like this and if it ever happens to you now you know what could be causing it.

Hey Zamfir. I have never heard anyone associate the use of the dual coils with canker sores. Are you completely off tobacco? How long since you last used tobacco?

The reason I ask, is because tobacco cessation causes canker sores in a lot of people. It happened to me after I stopped smoking. Started about 2 weeks in and lasted until about the one month mark. I had to go to the doctor and get a mouth wash to help with the pain.

Since that time, I have not gotten anymore sores.

I think it's a total coincidence that you got these and there not from the dual coils cartos at all, just my thoughts. I like the steel tube DC's better than the plastic ones as well but to each there own. Rinse with warm Salt water and clean your drip tips regularly would be my suggestions

i Havent had a analog in over 2 months. Not even been around smoke at all really. I doubt it was stress either because i just got a better job that i started today and when i started getting them was when i was getting ready to go on vacation so i was for once completely stress free lol. If i get anothe rone this week then maybe it wasnt the cartos but the last ones i got cleared up within 3 days of stopping the cartos while the others lasted 5-7 days. I dont know if theres different filling in the cartos or what cause like i said ive used boges alot and never had a canker sore(thanks for the spelling correction).

nope not hot drips on the tongue or mouth it's actually why i liked them better than the normal length boges because i would get them sometimes with them. i used a pawn drip tip from cherryvape and also a regular delrin near the end of the week because i dropped my pawn and broke it :(
May call my dentist and tell him to get me some of that stuff if they come back this week db13, nice avi by the way ;) need to get me one up.

I have used DC, and I have gotten sores. But...I can't remember if this was while I was using a DC or not. I just figured it was because I was at my 2 month mark off analogs and my mouth was working things out. It was bad for a week or so. I just used a lot of mouth wash (stung like a you know what) but it seemed to help. I did try to stay away from my strong menthol juices while they were bad though.

Hope they go away soon!!
