I'll have to pick some of that up if i get anymore this week Big Hitter, thank you. Twisty, only person i been kissing is my wife lol and she doesnt have any or never has. They hurt so bad though i could only give her little innocent kisses.
As much as I would like to blame it on the Dual coil cartos (because I hate them) I doubt it's that. It's probably due to vaping but it will go away.
I get these when I hit a bump in the road while vaping in my car, my pv jabs me in the lip. Usually I have to hit the same spot a few times to actually get a sore from it. I got used to these way back in the day when I had braces.
I know this may not help, as I never got the sores...but I didn't start the physical side of the detox until I had been off smokes for about 2 months. It lasted me two weeks-ish. I know that not everyone goes through it and those who do, suffer different symptoms. But I'm figuring, this is a sign of your body detoxing. I hope this passes for you quickly. 
It could be as simple as a dirty carto from the manufacturer, a speck of foreign matter soaked in your juice and taken into the mouth can cause cankers. Or just a symptom of detox, and the simultaneous hardware change is just coincidental.
