Oh Shoot!!!

lol ... okay first.... thanks once again for the offer Rob but I can't accept it. For one you already gave me extras on the couple orders I made with you and that is more than generous enough. For another ...

I WILL WIN ONE OF THESE DAYS!!!!

Oh and ... the Oh Shoot at the beginning... it just dawned on me, after reading your post, that I have the 401 PT you gave me that I can try out on it :thumb:

 ... I was just reading your PMs and about to respond when I read this. Seriously I appreciate the offers, this one and the one last week(?) but my desire to see how long before I win must prevail :D

Actually I got thinking after my earlier comment.. do you know if the 401 PT runs at 3.7v or 5v? I may have missed it but didn't see it listed on the site.

Either way I'll plug it into the wall adapter and see how it performs compared to when plugged into my usb hub but I am curious.

Are pass throughs really that good? Should I put one on my to buy list?

If you're around the pc or outlets often then definitely worth it because not only do some perform at higher voltage but also because it will help prolong the life of your other batteries for when you aren't at home ;)

My advice a 5 volts PT on older attys its the best, don't do it on new ones, a 3.7 PT on the new one are super while you are attached to a computer, but you can use the usb to wall adapter while watching tv for your PT not battery to wear out.
GP has it all

Ok so there is a difference in PT's. I don't have any old atty's since I am only 2 1/2 weeks into this. Would getting the 5V still be ok?

If you're enjoying the cartomizers already then I would say going with the 5v 808 PT would be best because then even if you burn out a carto it isn't as expensive as burning up an atty. But just my opinion. Personally I don't use cartos anymore but I remember liking them better on a PT than on the regular batteries. I had one a couple months ago but then gave it to my father when I gave up cartomizers because I didn't have any use for it.

Then I got a 901 atty and some 901 to 510 adapters I could have used with it......

maybe I should go steal it back while he's sleeping :D

some atty are good for the 5 volts other are going to die faster, I start doing 5 volts 2 weeks ago but only when I crave, a 5 volts is a must have, but don't get use to it or next month you are going to be looking for a 6 volts
