It looks like it would be good for charging 2 batteries with USB chargers at the same time. Obviously, that means you would have to have 2 USB chargers but those are pretty cheap and included with almost every starter package so I'm sure a lot of people have at least 2. If not, you can charge 1 battery and use the other slot for your phone or mp3 player etc.
