Awesome work! As other have mentioned... I love the retro look of this mod.

As far as the "You stole my idea" comment... Are you serious? Do you realize how many people here make mods out of similar objects?

Modding IMO is to make things for the fun of it, and sharing ideas. If you are into modding just to make cash... you have some serious issues. Just my two cents. ;)

EDIT: I can see people charging for mods like "The Chuck"... they build the devices from scratch. I can also see people charging a small free for building mods (i.e. Nico-Stick) for people who lack the skills to build one themselves.

Check the date on the original post ;)

I see that you've left the NES controller board still there... Could it be?!? Dual vape and SMB all at the same time?
Nah, I had to cut away part of the PCB to make room for the battery and charging circuitry. What's left is really just there to hold the buttons/dpad and membrane in place. Also, I tapped into the PCB circuit to use the buttons to vape.

When using the original pcb and button I had to use a mosfet. There seems to be around 110 ohms of resistance.
As did I. I actually used two - one for 3.7V and one for 5V. You can see them on the far left in the original pics soldered to a small piece of perf board. Unfortunately, the 5V circuit from the power pack I used wasn't up to the task and fried immediately. Still works in 3.7V mode though.
