This is exactly the kit I started with (although I paid twice the price!) all you need is juice:ElectronicStix.Com · Original Joye eGo Starter Kit with 510 Atomizers (650 mAh Kit)

ETA: There are so many products available and so many people with preferences, your head is going to spin! I outgrew this kit in less than a month, but I'm glad I started with it. The batteries are small, but compatible with just about every delivery system you may want to try. I have a lot of the tricked out gear you'll read about, but I still use the batteries from this kit when I go out because of their size.

The eGo is a great battery. You tried your friend's set-up and you liked it. Just get it! You can make yourself crazy trying to learn the lingo and find the perfect kit, but personally I'd rather you be vaping and asking how to upgrade, than smoking cigarettes while reading the forum. (Sorry, I'm feeling blunt tonight. I'm actually a nice person.)

The minimum order for that is 10 of them napdog. I just checked because the price sounded great but yeah, thats a wholesale website for US dealers. You can't buy 1 and be good. You'd have to order 10!

The kit that The Ocelot posted was great. It comes with cartomizers and 2 eGo batteries. Thats all you need. The kit that the original poster posted was priced way too high. I mean, I know what its like to have no money and be against spending on vape suplies. NOW on the other hand, I've probably spent over 500 dollars in the last 4-5 months of vaping supplies, lol.

I definitely recommend the kit that The Ocelot posted over the kit that you posted. It'll definitely get you started. Then, when you feel like you want to try new products or mods, you can. But the kit that The Ocelot started will satisfy you enough to get you OFF of cigarettes the day you receive it, I promise. You won't want a smoke once you receive that kit and start vaping. You just have to order some juice with it. I'm not sure if Elextronicstix sells juice, but if they do, pick up a couple tobacco flavors, a bakery flavor or two, and some fruit flavors. You'll be good to go for a month and once your used to vaping (you'll get used to it the 1st day) you'll give away your cigarettes and never look back. I PROMISE.

I recommend 12 to 18mg juices to start out. Get a few 12mg juices and a few 18mg juices so you can try both and figure out which milligram amount you like best. I started with 18mg and I'm now down to 12mg with some 18mg juices for when i'm really craving a good throat hit and a good nicotine hit.

Get the kit! You WONT regret it! Enjoy your vaping journey!

Those are sweet looking batts, and a good deal on the kit, but those are knock off Vivi Novas. See the post sticking out of the silicon seal. That said, some people have had good luck with knock offs, but some have not. Just be aware that if you have a bad experience with them, don't judge all Vivi Novas by that one. :)

I don't mind clones, but...

Your batteries are the most important part of your gear. For me, I am will to pay a bit more to know who the manufacturer is. If it's an eGo, I will only buy JoyeTech. And tidegirl is correct - those are not vivi novas. They're aren't even clones of vivi novas. The heads are wrong. I just ran into this situation a few days ago. Those are CE4-type rebuildable clones, so I don't know why they don't call them that. As I said, I don't mind clones, and those clearos may work just fine - but I bought some replacement "vivi nova" heads, which turned out to be these, now I'm stick with them.

Whats the difference between the "ego k" the oncelot posted versus the ego-t on this cignot site.

Is the ego t any good? Just trying to figure out the diffrrences

Hi - I didn't post an eGo-K, that is just some vendor's cute name for a style they sell. A standard, constant voltage eGo battery is the same, no matter if it's called an eGo-C or an eGo-T (Before I get jumped on, I'm not talking about Twists or Upgrades.)

eGo is a style of battery - it's thick like a cigar. The length varies, depending on the "mAh" which how long the battery lasts. "eGo-C" and "eGo-T" refer to the type of delivery system designed to put on the battery. Both are designed to go on an eGo battery and both were outdated before they were released LOL! They have pros & cons like everything else, but they work okay; they just aren't the new hot toy.

I will only link you to JoyeTech batteries, they created the eGo.

As far as the battery goes, not much. An ego is an ego is an ego, except when an ego is a knockoff ego, but it still pretty much works like an ego.

The real difference with the letters is what sits on top of the battery. For example, the T classically had the ego tank system, which most folks found sucked. Leaked, or burnt the atty and then it was pretty much toast.

But whatever letter is behind your ego kit, you have a 510 connection battery that you can get a myriad of things to attach to it.

Now let me confuse things a bit more for you. The kit that ocelot posted was decent, but old, old technology sitting on top of the battery. No one uses carts anymore, because they suck. :p The kit that napdog posted that I quoted, decent price but it is a knockoff and the knockoff vivis could present problems.

Here is yet another option for you: KGO kit1100mAh by SLB

Just a few dollars more
2 x 1100 mah batts, will give you about 11 hours solid vape time per battery
2 x "stardust" type clearo- they have been very popular
Hoosierecig/kgo (basically rebranded ego) are much used, recommended, and respected.

This will be a good, solid kit to get you started. You may want to explore more options for things to attach to your batteries, but that can come in time. This is a solid starter kit.

Sorry to add yet another option to your already spinning brain. But just trying to help. :)

Because then they couldn't make a bunch of money on the Vivi craze.
