I would take a look at the airlines list of banned items to see if its on there. If you don't want to cause any suspicion you should be fine packing it in your checked luggage. Wouldn't want some TSA agent confusing your PV as some detonator device and I'm sure you wouldn't want to have to throw all your gear away before getting on the plane. Hopefully more chime in!

I've flown into and out of LAX many times never had a problem, been to Mx many times too, never asked a question.

Liquids in quart size baggie with other carry on liquids or packed carefully in leak proof containers in checked luggage.
PV's in bin with other carry on items, I remove batteries in removable battery PV's and put them in a plastic container and then into the bin.
Sometimes I remove clearo's & carto tanks and put them in the liquids baggie sometime I don't.
I always travel with labeled bottles.

Sound advice. Labels are extremely useful in these situations because in the event they don't want to ask you what it is they can look and at least have an idea to base their decision on how to proceed. I like that you break them down into all the different pieces so there's nothing hidden and nothing to question.

Yeah best I could say call the airport/airline and also make sure to pack it in appropriate cases as the last thing you'd want is broken bottles or devises.
The only other "issue" that I could maybe foresee is the no import/export "food items" not sure if they'd consider the pg/vg or not....

Lmfao I donno more than not at quick glance they'd prob just mistake your pv as a erm toy :D
