Hey everyone,

Last weekend I met this guy who was smoking a e-pipe he got from Germany (i am a Aussie) and he swears by it. Said that you get more vapor from a pipe than a cigarette. I don't really care about the look of the device, I just want the best, any suggestions?

Also I have been trying to do some research on the best product on the market to start with, but all i am finding is posts from 2009 with some huge looking metal things (again i don't care what it looks like, i just wanna replace smoking). Does anyone have suggestinos of where i should start.

WELCOME TO THE ECF

I just wanna be brutally honest with you. There is NO such thing as the best e-cig on the market. Initially, that's how I found the ECF was through a search on google looking for the "best e-cig". Everyone has their own preferences as to what works for them the best.

Some say a Provari, others say a REO, and the list goes on. If you want a starter kit to begin exploring than there is always the EGO or RIVA. Which can be found here:

OR

You can look around the forum and see which mods or pv's that your most interested in. Anyways, what are you looking for in an e-cig? Price range? Cool or hot vapor? Variable voltage, fixed voltage, or bottom feeder?

Be careful about ordering into Australia. I don't think they can stop hardware going in but if there's any nicotine in the kit they could hold it in customs. I can't remember exactly what the law is with ecigs in oz but I can remember there's some restrictions somewhere. You should get your 5 posts and ask in the Australia sub forum what the score is there.

For "best" ecig, the most reccommended starting ecig is the ego and riva. They'te 650mAh+ devices, huge range of accessories/heating units/atomisers etc and last about 6 hours on one charge. They aren't much bigger than a superking for the 650mAh versions, only fatter, like a rich cigar size. Best plus for these is longer battery life, many options and they're still on the affordable line.

Best ever, right now is probably the provari judging by how many people swear by their build quality and performance but they're seriously expensive. Reo or darwin are likely close second contenders but again they're not cheap.

If you want something that just works, grab an ego or riva and some 510 atomisers. Also try out some cartomisers I guess because it's a good "portable" solution compared to atomisers and there's no really as of yet a perfect "tank" type solution that's completely hassle or maintenance free. Cartomisers (to me anyway) are still the most reliable portable solution.

Ech, I'm rambling now. I wouldn't say an epipe has more vapour than an ecig. It's the same kit, just a different shape aint it? Ask your fellow aussies where the best deals are and where to get stuff and how to get it in.

I am a Aussie and I get my stuff usually from China as the delivery is pretty quick. On the Aussie Vapers forum their are guys there with pipes and other stuff.
A few push the Pro Vari on every count which can get a bit annoying.

I myself was considering a Carto Pipe but would be restricted to a particular Carto size as the pipes are designed for what you use.

I decided to get a Buzz Pro which is a Variable Voltage tube type e-cig and I also use ego batteries and can happily switch between different delivery methods, as in all the newer carto's that are being released all the time.
