Ever since I switched to the evo I've been having some problems with using it inside of a club with loud music, since I work for a promotions company this is very difficult. It seems the batteries are so sensitive they go off with the slightest thud from a subwoofer and then the batteries simply cut off for a few hours before working again. My crappy e-cig from SE doesn't have this problem, but I honestly would rather smoke an analog than use that thing...anybody have any suggestions?

I have an DSE084 that is incredibly sensitive (melted an atomizer because it was a windy day) but have never had a problem inside a club. I will be taking my 402 (same thing as an EVO) tonight, which also seems to be fairly sensitive...I'll let ya know how it goes.

As far as suggestions...You could try a different model, or maybe getting a case for it, and keeping the cig disassembled in the case until you want to use it.

I also have a DSE103, that only triggers when you puff on it. Dropping it, blowing on it, etc do not trigger it. You might try one of those as they are fairly inexpensive.

i keep it in the case that came with my SE kit and the batteries just go off constantly every time i open the case they are flashing and then they stay of for sporadic periods of time no matter what, if I barely blow on the back of the batteries they set off...thats actually how I test to make sure they are charged before I put them in my travel case

jmoney, i've made a handful of posts about this, i don't have a minute to dig out the links as i'm about to drive home, but if you search for my posts you can find them. i did a few field tests with teh evo/pilot/401 and the batteries use electronic switches that are very sensitive to vibration and "thick" noise. i love my 401, but i got a 901 for going out to clubs since they use the older pneumatic switch that activates by "sucking."

also where is a website that sells the screwdriver...I can't seem to find it on google or the search tool here I was considering the titan from totallywicked just because it has a manual switch

Screwdriver:

ecigscrewdriver.com

It's not nearly as big as you think. Actually no longer than a 901. Since you go to nightspots, and the bottom of the SD looks like a minature keg, tell people it's the new vaporized version of Bud Light.

one of my main problems is that im one of the investors at a club down in austin tx and i really can't be outside anymore puffing away, thats why im trying to find something with a blue light so i don't inspire people to smoke inside of my place...which is illegal in austin. The only problem I forsee with the screwdriver is people believing im using some device for illegal substances and I would rather inspiring people that all together so what I really am stuck with is probably a titan from wicked because of the blue light an manual switch or if the vaporking doesnt have these problems I would rather go with that.

On the SD, just tell people it is your personal vaporizer for your medical condition. They will pat you on the back and tell you they understand. You don't have to tell them that the medical condition is your addiction to nicotine, lol.:D

Oooh... BEER flavor vapor. Good accidental idea!

BTW, another rave review here for the Screwdriver!
