Hi everyone, im new to ECF although not new to vaping, I've only been vaping once in awhile and one question has been bugging me. Is there a substantial difference in taste if one were to vape with two different E-Cigs? and another question i'd like to ask is What's everyone's favorite flavor? I've only bought 5 of them 3 of which I've regret buying and im running out of my last good flavor which would be green apple and ry4 (greenapple is left ) So what does everyone like?

Hi vapahoy, welcome to the forum.
In my opinion the taste can differ, because of type of esig used. A reason is the voltage you can use to vape. Other thing that makes a taste difference i noticed myself is whether you are using a tank, cartomizer or clearomizer. A clearomizer has much more taste of the same flavor than a tank has. Last thing i know of that might influence taste is whether or not you are using low or high resistance atomizer, cartomizer...

I'm new on DIY and have about 21 flavors. Only 10 tested so far. Favourites are Caramel (Lorr Ann), Coffee (Totaly Wicked) and Cowboy Blend (Flavour Art).

welcome to ecf!

I don't think flavors change too much. Granted I don't use any that look like a "cigarette" so to speak.

With different volts I think the flavor may change some but not too drastically. For me high volts it just feels more intense. Many flavors end up slightly burnt tasty if it's set too high.

My #1 favorite flavor is Mister E's Manic Mint Chocolate. Ooooh man I miss it... Havn't been able to buy any since around April ugh the agony. So now I DIY. I really love bubblegum flavors as well as ice/fruit mixes.

@Vappa Ah.. I've seen videos about that and read a bit about that but I've been rather skeptical about how much the tast can differ though. sorry here comes a newbie question but as you said the clearomizer has more taste so am i able to just unscrew the top of my ego-t to replace it with a clearomizer top?? or will it be incompatible due to the difference of voltage the two heads are supposed to run on and the clearomizer might burn out as compared to the tank???

thanks for the heads up i was just thinking of whether or not it is worth buying a variable voltage battery and i don't think i am now since you said it doesnt change much.

Oh boy that sounds amazing and DIY? your juices?? how does that work??

You can just switch them like Flyinx said. That's what i do too.

Indeed as frosting said, higher Voltage makes it a bit more intense (or burnt if too high). For me that counts as tasting different.

Off topic: how can i quote multiple users in 1 message?

On topic: The difference in taste between the EGO-C tanks and the clearo is very noticeable, at least for me. My favorites go into the clearo.

There a sub forum around here on DIY. Just be sure to read all the warnings as (if legal where you live of course) many end up handling nicotine liquid in it's more potent form. It's pretty easy. My theory is creators, people who like to cook, those of us who have an inner mad scientist end up doing better with DIY. It takes time, practice and patience. DIY E-Liquid

Having a variable volt is nice though if you feel that what you use now isn't strong enough throat hit wise, vapor wise, if the intensity isn't there you might like it.

I have been using flavourart, I don't really have complaints about that. I also got some flavor from healthcabin and let me tell ya those are strong! I use at least 10% of flavourarts flavor, but the health cabin I used less than 1%. The root beer from healthcabin is pretty good though. I accidently mixed root beer with cotton candy and someone wanted it anyways. They called it crest and said it tasted like toothpaste.

So all i have to do is make sure my E cig resistance is higher than 2?

No, the resistance comes from the atomizer, which is inside the clearomizer. Attys have resistances in ohms, here's my chart : Ohms to volts.

That will help explain a bit more. When you buy a clearo, they tell you what resistance it will come in, the Vision Vivi Nova (my favorite) has multiple heads you can switch out or re-wick/coil (rebuildable), so you can choose your resistance whenever you want.

okay noted. Thanks for the heads up now all i have to do is look for a clearo head and if im not wrong theres one icon on the bottom right next to reply with quote which highlights "multi quote this message" so i reckon that should be it.

Problem is that Ecigs let alone juices are pretty much contraband here so i can't order online
