Here's a copy of today's Des Moines Register where AG Tom Miller endorses the use of e-cigs to quit smoking. Good job getting this headline and important info out there advocates!

True, but the AG refuted it, as did local activists. Good headlining article and overall a win for vapers.
No argument that it was a good article, from the parts that I could read. (the inside page image is a little fuzzy for my old eyes) But other groups are picking up the Harvard study and quoting it like Gospel, without examining the methodology or comparative values to smoking - items that we've totally killed in the thread devoted to the Harvard study.

Thanks for putting up the images though. :)

I've seen some of that. Funny part is that the items of discussion that the Harvard study has 'brought to life' is stuff we've been discussing in the vape community since I've been a member. I remember 'popcorn flavored' e-liquid being a discussion on these very forums back in 2011 and people quoting articles from various sources talking about factory workers at popcorn facilities and if there was enough of that active ingredient in e-cigs to make a vaper sick. I recall vendors self regulating shortly thereafter. I recall lab studies being conducted not long after that. This was all before special interest groups were swooping in 'to save all of us' from the evils of vaping. Those same anti smoking groups are attempting to scare smokers away from a way to potentially save their own lives. As it turns out, the safest thing to do is not smoke or not vape. But when it comes to smoking vs vaping, clearly vaping wins hands down by several magnitudes in the harm reduction category.
