Hey guys. Pack a day smoker here, and have been smoking for about 3 years. I have developed a chronic sore throat from cigarettes. It seems to just be getting worse and worse the more I smoke. It is nothing serious, I have had it looked at by a few doctors. This has been going on for 8 months now. I was wondering if anyone else had throat problems when smoking and if converting to vaping has made a difference at all....

I hear people say the throat hit from vaping is stronger than cigs, and was curious as to whether or not that has caused any problems for some.... Thanks!

Smoked full strength menthols for 13 years. Last 5 years of which i was getting sinus infections 4-6 times a year. Waking up with sore throats was a daily thing for me. I stopped smoking analog 10 days ago. I am constantly vaping, probably part of the process of quitting smoking. Throat is no longer sore in the mornings. Coughing up weird stuff daily, but from what i hear thats my body breaking down the garbage from the cigarettes. Overall i feel alot better, but only time will tell on the sinus thing.

Also, i cant see how its harder on your throat than smoking. Its a different type of hit, one which you quickly become accustom to, and then start realizing the clean flavor hits in your mouth are much MUCH better than the gross burning smoke ... flavor.

Throat hit is not worse than cigs- plus, there is a vast difference in TH- some juices do not have much at all. I smoked for over 46 years and tried the vaping out of curiousity- it was so good that I quit cigs immediately. There has been a learning curve to it but is so worth being free from the nasty cigs.
