I just got a couple E-Fest 18350 batteries from madvapes. I put them in my charger and let em charge for a while. I took them out with the green LED lit, and measured each one at 4.3V. Normally, the charger stops at 4.2V with my AW battery.

First time with these though, so just wondering if they're ok.

Were tested using a DMM. The batteries are IMR. The charger is the Trustfire TR-001.

To the best of my knowledge, that charger doesn't have a very good auto shutoff at full charging completion. It's a cheap, bottom-of-the-barrel charger. I suggest you upgrade to a better charger. I recommend a Pila, Xtar, or Nitecore Intellicharger. Look for these at RTD Vapor.

It's done right by me so far, but I agree I should be using a better quality charger. Now that I know it's not cutting off for these particular batteries, I don't want to keep using it. I'll wait til something goes on sale though...

It's the chargers fault that the battery voltage was high. If you keep charging the batteries that much they will die a premature death. If the voltage goes higher, they will start heating up. Get them hot enough and they can burn. I would not leave that charger on unattended or overnight.
