E go tank fail

Hi everyone first post here,I recently purchased an e go tank kit hoping to up grade from my riva kit which has actually been working great for over 4 months but was looking for bigger hits and more vapor and less time filling cartos.I think the tank system is a great idea but it just isn't working out,it leaks very bad and for some reason it killed 2 brand new batteries that I just got only 3 days ago, hoping that I can return for exchange on something different I would just like some suggestions on what to get now.I was a 33 year smoker and the riva kit made it almost effortless to quit, just looking for better gear and something that produces a lot of vapor and th with less time refilling, thanks for any advice in advance, Doug

Just buy a decent mod , and use cart's , even xl size . they hold a lot of juice , and don't usually leak . There's all kinds of used mods , for sale , in the classifieds . Depending how much money , you have to spend . Look at Reos , provari's Prodigy V3.1 , Silver Bullets , etc. Plus there's a host of cheaper box type mods . Your choice . Most people on here have several different types . ( me included ) .

How do you know the batteries are bad?
The eGo batteries are protected so a little juice shouldn't have killed them.
To have 2 go bad in 3 days isn't very likely. I would suspect that your charger is bad. Try them on a different charger.

As far as your leaks, the two main causes of juice on your battery is:
A. You left the eGo in the upright position too long and gravity pulled the juice down to your battery. Keep them laying flat.
B. You are drawing too hard and pulling juice out of the chamber before it has a chance to atomize. This juice will also make it's way back down to the battery if you don't keep them flat.

Thanks for the advice Fella's! As for the batteries being dead... They are, I thought it was very odd too, I just thought maybe that one of the tanks leaked so much I caused that to happen. And the gravity thing makes complete sence.MFS is sending 2 new batts free of charge, great customer service from them. Thanks again guys

I have the Ego-T and have had it 2 weeks, 2 days. 2 days ago, I started having problems with the flavor being gone. I havent had ANY problems with leaking, thankfully. I would check about the batts both going bad. They are protected, not that it cant happen, but unlikely. What are they doing or not doing?

I first bought a 510 tank and it leaked , but only if I filled it passsed 60% , I now have a (second generation) ego-t and it dosen`t leak at all. I am afraid to try a cart cig after my first experience with a mini super cigarette 80.00 totally wasted!!!
Thats way too much to spend on any e-cig that isn't a mod. I use cartomizers on both my mod and ego-t batteries, and i love them. As for the ego-t batteries, my first one failed and upon inspection by my local e-cig dealer (we took the thing apart lol) we found that there was a short concerning the connectors. Replaced the battery and haven't had an issue yet. I found that my tanks did leak a lot, and the vapor wasn't very warm, even when using a low ohm tank atomizer, so i just switched to using the ego-t battery with a low ohm 510 carto and its a dream come true, highly recommend that setup :)
