Ok a couple of things, one you didn't say what your delivery system is. You will find that all of us have our preferred delivery systems, be it cartos, clearos, dripping with attys, and so on. The reason everyone seems to have an opinion on which is best is it affects the taste of the juice.

The there is the ohms on your delivery system of choice, you are using a twist so you have a bit more room to play around there, but different juices taste different at different voltages. So the ohms of your system mixed with the volts of your battery will play a part.

And finally what is it about the tobacco juices you haven't liked, not sweet enough, too sweet, too much th, too little vapor? Or are you looking for the same flavor you get when you light a cig? As most of that is from the burning of the tobacco, not the actual flavor of it.

Thanks Nancy for your thoughts....
OK. Lately I've been using carto's with a standard E-go but I now have the twist.
I tried dripping but didn't like it much; kinda a pain too with regular 510 atty's I thought.

I just got some Vision Stardust Clearomizers for the twist rated at 2.1-2.4 Ohms but haven't tried them yet as I wanted to mix a juice that I thought was OK via a regular carto so I don't waste the clearomizer.
What's the short term for them anyway??????

I've tried so many tobacco juices and they tend to be harsh for me. I'm looking for a mild taste like a light or ulta light cig.
I KNOW that vaping will NOT duplicate smoking but still looking for something similar.

As I said before I now feel I should try something totally different like espresso coffee or toffee which I love.....
Thanks again.....

the flavor trail is a long and endless path... get some 24mg unflavored, forget trying to replace the flavor of your cigs and power through the first 2 weeks. you will adjust, the unflavored will satisfy your nic cravings and you wont be chasing the proverbial dragon of flavor until the end of time...

What unflavored brand do you use and thanks for that. Just been scared to get something so high but perhaps I need it at least to start with...

I use eGo Twists and they are great for my on-the-go lifestyle. If it's too harsh, you might want to turn down the voltage and raise the ohms of your carto or atty. Just a thought.

Thanks, I'm actually experimenting with just that so let's hope!!

Ok I agree with the letting them steep, that can be a biggie.

I wouldn't worry about wasting one of the stardusts, they are much easier to clean then a carto. Not to mention not as much hassle if you do change flavors in them.

If you are wanting less harshness, you might want to try a higher VG or lower nic.

Nic = th and of course nic you get
PG = enhanced flavor and th
VG = muted flavor and th but more vapor

Thanks again Nancy, I'll try a higher VG. I've avoided that previously when I only had atty's as high VG clogs them......
Now I have the Stardusts I'll youtube how to clean them.
Off I go......

Also heard that Boba's Bounty is good???????
I've always wanted to try Boba's Bounty, but it is 100% VG juice, so it is forever scratched off my list.

Never done that just tried them the day they arrive.
Should I leave them for a few days?
Well, that's a potential issue right there.

If they are freshly made tobacco mixes, a few days would generally be the minimum.
When I buy Backwoods Brew Casablanca, I let it steep for a month.

On the other hand, any Dekang flavor like DK-TAB will be steeped by the time you get it.

Another thought I had........

If let's say I like toffee (Just got some VG mix at 25mg from Cignot) should I just use that OR can I use a bottle of pure flavor like loran and mix it with the Krystal 36mg ECOpure nic?
Thanks
You can mix anything with anything.

Just get Loran stuff that is suitable for ecig use.....many of the oil based flavors may not be suitable for vaping from what I undestand, i.e. cinnamon oil which for ecig use Loran has an alternative PG-based cinnamon instead.

Good topic here:

Not to mention that as time goes on what flavors you did like in the beginning you may not like after your tastebuds change.

Yes, I've heard that and just now starting to realize that you're correct!
This whole vaping venture is ceratinly a complex journey for some, huh?
Thanks for your valuable input and thank you everybody!

What nicotine strength you using Charlie C? I tend to avoid tobacco flavors myself I figured if I am trying to quit tobacco I would just stay away from that flavor it has worked for over 6 months now. I like a little higher VG content to mine but 50/50 isn't bad high nicotine strength is always harsh to me I vape around 12mg to 18mg and I prefer Apple & Bananas Foster for my all day vape.

Tried to reply last night but computer had a shotfit.
Mainly vape 6-12mg but am now looking at a higher mg level, thank you kindly.
BTW, love the avatar!

Hi...I have the egotwist too, what is a good low cost atomizer to use on these and where would I get some?
In my opinion you can't go wrong with a genuine standard Joye 510 atomizer.

You can find 510 atomizers anywhere, but I'm not sure how to make sure you are getting genuine Joyes.
Although I have gotten most of my 510 atomizers from Health Cabin, they are in China.

But I have had good luck with the ones I got from Vaporleaf and Totally Wicked.

I'm in your same case. I've tried several companies and different flavors of tobacco blends. I've found that Johnson creek is the best for my setup vison /ego c twist. I love Johnson creek red oak 100% vg original and Tennessee Cured. They will exchange or return within 90 days if your not satisfied. Ordered from several sites at this point and night yet have I found service like theirs. Jcsmoke.com.

I have ego twists also!

Well... I quess I am in the minority but I LOVE tobacco flavor. I love the taste of a good pipe tobacco, love a good cuban style cigar.. Smoked 1 1/2 PAD Marlboro full flavor. I would agree that there are only a select few tobacco flavors that are respectable. However, one thing I found out early is that you will not match the flavor of the cigs you are used to smoking. I am realatively new to vaping but have ordered numerous sample paks from different venders. As has been said before, pink spot vapors sample pak is a must try IMHO. Even though it does not have a discernable tobacoo flavor, Swager from Pink spot is awesome. So is their version of 555 mix which I think has a little more tobacco aftertaste.

Two of my favorite tobacco flavors. (Im sure you can get similar mixes from other venders) is Mountain Vapors Turkish tobacco and their Maple cured Tobacco. You can get them from 36mg - 0mg. Hangsen also makes a very mellow sweet cured tobacco RY4 flavor. Thought I would throw in my 2 cents.... Keep searching, the key is buy samples from different venders and vary the nic strength. If you find one you like and its too strong, you can alway dilute it later... Good luck
