e-juice alarm!

I received a bottle of" ButtBold" juice ( supposedly a strong tobacco flavor), mostly vg, 24 mg.
This juice is greenish/yellow, with black stuff lining the inside edge and the tip of the bottle.
There's also black strings and bits of black stuff floating in the juice.
When I first topped off my poly filled carto and vaped a couple of times it tasted awful, and bitter. So I decided to pour
it into another bottle to dilute it. That's when I saw all this weird stuff.
I used a q-tip to wipe around the inside edge of the inner rim of the bottle and it looked like the stuff you get from wiping out the inside thread end of a battery.
I took photos of the tip and I poured the juice into a clear glass and took photos, but I don't know how to upload them onto this site, to show what I'm talking about.
The vendor doesn't seem to comprehend what I'm talking about, Maybe I'm not describing it very well.
Anyone ever had this situation?

Your description reads suspiciously like a Tobacco Absolute overdose.

As you may know, Tobacco Absolute is a natural tobacco extract that usually comes from Bulgaria and is made from Bulgarian tobacco leaves. The color of the extracted liquid is a dark blackish-brown with a yellow-green tinge. It also has a marked oiliness and may contain particulates (like the black stuff you mentioned). Absolute is SUPER-concentrated. It is hardly ever sold to the public without being diluted 20:1 or even 50:1 with PG or VG, yet even after dilution Absolute is still ridiculously concentrated. Just a drop or two provides ample tobacco flavoring for a 10ml bottle.

Basically, Tobacco Absolute must be used with caution and restraint. Add even a two or three drops too much Absolute, and the juice will be ruined flavor-wise. When a bottle of juice made with Tobacco Absolute is empty after vaping all the contents, an oily yellow-greenish film remains inside the bottle and can be removed only with alcohol (such as vodka) or petroleum distillates (such as naphtha/lighter fluid). I would recommend discarding empty plastic bottles of Absolute blends, but glass bottles can be reused by removing the film residue then washing in hot water and soap.

When used very sparingly, Absolute is an amazing tobacco extract. It imparts a tobacco flavor with a slight ashiness that is reminiscent of the smell and taste of burning tobacco.

Sounds like your vendor got carried away with Absolute.

Thanks for the extensive info, you're right on as to color and oiliness and the rest of the info about this stuff. The vendor, with many back and forth emails, still refuses to acknowledge that there's something very wrong with this juice!
I think I'll send her one more email and refer her to your post.

Oldbroad, cignot has been a widely used and verified ecf supplier for years and Vicky (the owner, I believe) has been praised by many for providing excellent customer service. Also, the description of this juice on their site clearly states that it uses tobacco absolute and that some separation may occur. The description reads as follows "Horrifyingly close to the flavor of a full bodied cig. This liquid is Mostly VG, it contains less than .3% PG and has ALL NATURAL flavorings including Tobacco Absolute which can separate." Now I have never used liquid with tobacco absolute and I'm not much of a tobacco vaper myself, but this just sounds gross. Since you are clearly (and understandably) not happy with this liquid, I would imagine Vicky would be able to work something out for you. I would also suggest posting about this in the Cignot forum here on ECF.

+1 Dom. Cignot offers excellent customer service. Seems like, regardless of how disgusting this juice may be, it is clearly warned about in the description. Nevertheless, the OP should definitely contact them with his/her concerns.
