So I was blowing out my atty.... ummm let me start this way. I needed to blow out my atty and I have a towel on my desk. Instread of picking up towel and holding it over the atty I just bent over and held the attiey and inch or so from the towel and blew. I guess the juice some how reflected up. I felt this little tickle on my eye so I new I had done something... Then came the crazy burning!!! I flushed my eye out with water and it went right away. Man! I did'nt expect that to happen, the burning that is.

My daughter grab what she thought was her eye drops and put lots in her eye....It didnt take long for her to realize it was her juice. She said it was very painful. Her eye stayed real red for a ling time. Hard lesson learned on her part.
Whoew. Never thought about getting it in my eyes. Thanks for the wake up call. I'll definitely think about that and take precautions the next time I blow out my atty. So now we need to don rubber gloves, goggles, respirator, tyvex suit, ........

Oh it does burn !!! And just because you wiped juice off your hands with a towel does not mean that it is gone...you'll find out if you rub your eye !! (wash your hands).
Thats a really good point. We really should remember to wash our hands after touching juices. I always wash my hands because
I have children. But yeah my eye is doing better. As bad as it burned it went away pretty fast, like with in 10 sec of flushing with water. So I guess it wasnt oil based juice, thankfully.
Yeah, I have unknowingly gotten juice on my hands and rubbed my eye. It burns for a few secs.
That is soooo bad, sorry to hear that, I bet she was freakin out!
I've had it happen before. Not the most pleasant of experiences, but thankfully the burn only lasts for a few minutes.
I get a little in my nose sometimes when I'm sniffing a bottle. BURNS like no other. 
Yes she was...Called me in tears. She no longer keeps the eye drops any where near the juice.
its happened to me a couple times. i wear contact lenses, so i think the probability of that happenenig just goes up.
