Quick question. I bought a e-juice recently the flavor is cherry coke and I don't want to mention the vendor since idk if that would be ok or not. I have like 30+ juices and they all are fine but this juice is so freaking harsh in the throat that I need to ask if that is normal or just a bad badge? I am talking 20 cats scratching your throat kinda feeling it is really almost impossible to smoke that stuff. I am a heavy smoker 24 + analogs a day and I can really take a lot but that is just insane.

So before I contact them I wanted to see what you guys think. Are there some juices that are like that or is it a sign for a bad badge?

it is cherry coke 24 mg nic and 30% VG.

Well, are all of your juices normally 24mg? 24mg irritates my throat, but then again you may be comfortable with that nic level. Also, sometimes flavorings can do it to ya as well. I've had 18mg 50/50 juices irritate me but others that do not, all from the same vendor.

So, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it continues with juices that you know normally don't irritate you, you should go to the doctor and get checked up just in case.

There is no reason to tolerate a juice that irritates burns your throat. Even at 36 mg. However, how much throat irritation depends a lot on the ecig you are using. Thick vapor from an ecig is typically less irritating. However, there is more condensation of thick vapor that ends up your stomach, where it can also be an irritant. Try other ecigs. One with heavy vapor (e.g. Njoy) and one with thin vapor (e.g. 510).

That's just the way some juices are mixed, I'm not saying that's your issue but some are known for a kicking throat hit. If you haven't had it long then set it to the side for a couple of weeks and try it again, the flavors might just need some time to come together. If it's still excessive at that point you can add small amounts of it to other juices to get rid of it which shouldn't change the flavor to much or add some vg to it to tone it down but that'll weaken the flavor as well.
