I finally gave up on madvapes flavor "grapple" which I loved to death, and heard so much about MtBaker Vapor. So I finally ordered some flavors from them, and was doing research to find out how to configure the pg/vg, and decided to go with the 80/20 blend. I heard the more pg, the better throat hit, but less vapor. I have been running to the Post office every day twice a day checking for these flavors, Coconut 36mg and Razleberry 24mg, and finally today they came. I am stationed on Guam so it takes at least 10 or more days.....I filled her up, few practice pulls and blows, and............................yuck....... is that taste? Plastic like taste or just no flavor. Immediately was so let down, so I said no, lets try the razzleberry, and excited again, but....what the hell same type of flavor....barely any taste and a lot of this plastic like taste......luckily he threw in a sample but it tastes okay, but now I am at a loss of words and leveled. I had been looking forward to some good flavors, lots of taste and no more cigarettes "again"......now I want to say my mistake was the 80/20 blend correct? I should atleast have it at like 60/40 to get any flavor? or where did I go wrong? I will order the grapple ASAP to and hopes it gets here, but man....any advice?

Take the caps off and let them air out for 24 hours, then cap them, put them somewhere cool and dark and let them steep for a week or so. I've ordered many MBV juices - some of them are very perfumey/chemical when they're freshly mixed, and airing/steeping them greatly improves the taste (and smell!) of them. MBV does make some good juices - give 'em a little time and retry them before you toss them.

Thanks I will do that right now! Any suggestions on flavors that you keep vaping ? Do you think the 80/20 had anything to do with it?
My favorites from MBV are Banana Cream Pie and Cinnamon Roll. My first bottle of Cinnamon Roll was 80/20 (as were all my other first bottles of MBV juice), and was fine, so I don't think the mix ratio is to blame. Almost any juice will benefit from some steeping time, and this is definitely the case with a lot of MBV's flavors.

Taste in juice is a very subjective thing - if you read through the threads in the e-juice subforum, you'll find that many people love the same juices that others hate with a passion. There's no 100% consensus on any juice flavor.

butterscotch is great right out of the mail, or least the one i ordered. but the bananas foster, ecto cooler, mango, afternoon delight and caramel candies all had to steep a while before they reached a vapable point.

edit: my flavors are all 65/35 but the more pg you have the stronger the flavor is, so i would not consider that the issue. I have found teh throat hit a little harsh with 65/35 18mg. I will probably go with a 50/50 next time I order.

50/50 with an extra flavor shot works great for me. I like their Morning Vape, Graham Cracker, Cinnamon Roll, Hazelnut, and USA Bland Tobacco. Today I revisited the Vanilla Cupcake after at least a week and a half. It's MUCH better than it was when I first got it. Darker too. All of their stuff has gotten a lot, to somewhat, better over time.
