well first off im trying orange and apple bomb from strictlyeliquid.com and the apple is very hard to taste, and the orange taste like chemicals, im somewhat new to vaping but i can barely taste these flavors when i drip....... are they all really subtle flavors?

and does vaping dry your throat out anyone?

also i have coffee(nasty), crem de menthe(havent tried), root beer(not tried), and coffee mint(not tried)

are there just flavors to stay away from? because i want some flavored ejuice i can taste, that i can get shipped soon, not like from diyflavorshack etc.
suggestions welcome

btw i have a joye 510, and im trying every cart mod lol PTB liked the best so far

Hi nick,
I'm new like you are too.. and one thing I've noticed is that most often people are gonna ask what e-cig/PV model you got..

and from everything I'm reading it's my understanding that on someting like a Joye 510 the atomizer burns a bit hotter so you lose some flavor...
And whether PG or VG plays a part too..
In any case, have a look over on nhaler...it looks like he has some high voltage juice which he says "is a more flavorful Eliquid for high voltage mods and manual battery lovers"... and they offer them in 6ml samplers got like $4.. which isnt so bad so I got high hopes for that.

Some of the fruity flavors are sorta gross to me. I was hoping to like them because they sounded good, but I dunno. I like the tobacco and menthol flavors the best. I just tried English Toffee and I was really surprised. It tasted really good, but just as a topping, not to fill the cart. How was dealing with strictly ejuice? You get your order fast and all? I've been eyeballing their site to stock up on some cheap juice!

If I have said it once, I have said it a million times. You have to try the juices yourself to know what is good to you. I don't know what it is about these juices, but you can take the orange flavor that you have for example and have ten people try it. Some will just love it and say its the best thing ever, but to some it will taste like puke and to others it will taste like burning ... (not that I know what burning ... tastes like lol).

The bottom line is that these flavored juices do different things to different peoples taste buds. So you have to just try them for yourself. For me, the only flavor other than the cigarette flavors that taste good to me is vanilla coke. Im not sure why that is the only one that tastes good, but it is. All of the other ones are terrible and I really cant stand them. I have sampled about a dozen flavors now from different vendors and have had the same repulsive result every time. However, someone else will say the aple pie flavor reminds them of when they were a little kid and mom would bring them some home made pie.

I am also new to vaping (2 weeks) . I have a 901 w/auto battery. I first tried e-juice from myfreedomsmokes sampler (peach, coconut, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla butternut and banana) each 0mg nic because I thought I could do it kinda cold turkey. The flavors where excellent and I was surprized that I like the coconut and the peach the best. I had to order some nic though and decided to try another company I had read about on these forums.
Then I got a manual battery for my 901 and a passthru. Got e-juice from stricklyejuice, 18mg nic coconut, 12 mg peach and 6mg grape. I've just tried the coconut first (i'm trying to get back to the 0mg nic) it tasted fine and has good throat hit. I think the difference in taste is the nic and the type of battery. So...... i'll get back to the 0mg nic as soon as I can cause the flavor is the best.
I have to say that these companies have very fast shipment to me in Tennessee. Ordered from both of them and from vaporkings late on a Friday night and received them all on Monday. I will continue to buy from these three companies. Great customer service and response to email :D.

Hi Nick, I will second the opinion that ejuice taste is VERY subjective. Also, there is a very good chance your tastes will change over time, so ... probably best not to get rid of stuff too early as you might end up liking it after several weeks or a month.

Yes, dry throat is very typical at first, might wish to read up on the initial common side effects thread, (I think in the health section?). It seems to subside over time.

As far as flavors seeming weak, again give that some time as well. There were some flavors I could barely detect at first, a month or so later I really like them. However, right at the start I found certain flavors really overpowering, ones that might stick in your atty for awhile, quickly coming to mind were some of the fruity ones, like apple, or caramel or cinnamon and some of the menthols.

Yep, just keep trying different ones and hopefully you will start finding some you really enjoy. Just remember, at least for me my tastes have changed considerably so I am happy I kept all the earlier juices as some I actually like now that I didn't when I first tried them.
