I'm still pretty attached to tobacco flavours. USA Mix is just yummy to my uncultured palate ;) As for tasting like a marlboro, nah. Marlboros taste like burning ick just like all the rest of them LOL

I'll give it a try the next time round! Pretty disappointed with the battery I ordered, stated that the max setting is 4.2v but it taste nothing like that, I'm 100% sure it's about 3.7v or less. Tried it before? 650mAh V. V. (Variable Voltage) Batteries with LCD screen for 510/eGO [D-C2 VV-1 Batt] - $12.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Does the vanilla taste gets too strong after awhile? Not sure about you but it is for me, the whole vanilla taste gets into my head and I get a miniature headache.
So I went to mix my own base to the juice and am about to try it now!

On the other hand, you should really try hc green apple. The taste is freaking great and addictive! :D
Not sure about the pre made ones but I mix my own base with the flavour, gave a friend to try it out too and he came back coming for more!

Initially I added too much flavouring and I felt like a living air freshener, the feeling sucks. Your recommendation on using an atty would be perfect for me who never tried dripping before! Sadly it's their national day and I just have to wait patiently...

Well I hope that there will be a discount for their vmax in October!...kinda tired of trying out batteries which I wouldn't want even if it was free lol

Wait for them to get the ZMax in stock. The VW setting is great. Just find your sweet spot and never have to worry about setting again. My sweet spot is 7 watts which is actually about 9.5 watts because the Max series puts out more power than shown on the display due to it being tuned to average voltage instead of being based on VRMS voltage. I hope HC gets the ZMax soon. So far it has proven to be a reliable addition to the Smok Max line.

Mixing DIY is easy but you have to be careful with flavoring percentages. Perceived taste varies with type of atty (i.e., clearomizer, cartomizer, drip atomizer, etc) and personal preference. I have found that if you use too much flavoring you get a chemical taste. And oddly enough if you use way too much flavoring you taste nothing due to sensory overload. I did experiments with different percentages of flavoring and I am finding that for me 5 to 10% is where I get the most flavor, depending on which flavoring is used. Tobacco flavorings should be used at 1 to 2% as they are very strong. Once you find your sweet spot, you can make very tasty ejuice for fractions of the cost of premade ejuices. Also, get some graduated cylinders and disposable pipettes. Counting drops is not reliable and gets you very mixed results from batch to batch. You need to know exactly how many ml of flavoring and nic juice you are adding to your pg and vg no nic juice for reliable results.

Yes you are absolutely right on the sensory overload part!
Having equipments to measure accurately is just not me, troublesome, including washing.
And not to mention accidents like liquid spilling and stuff
But I do agree that the hard work pays off. :D

Guess DIY is not for me, as for now I get premade juices and dilute it a little if the flavour is too strong.

On the other hand, DIY makes me feel like a chemist!

You cannot compare different batteries to each other in that way. Many batteries like the Ego Twist are Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) and you get an actual higher vaping voltage than what you set (you have to calculate vrms based on peak voltage, duty cycle, etc). If the battery is straight voltage and you get an actual 4.2 volts it will feel much less than a standard PWM device set at the same voltage. Plus all PWM devices are not the same based on the algorithm used and the vrms can vary widely; so you have to judge each battery on its own merits and find the setting you like to vape at. If that battery at 4.2 volts is not giving you a satisfying enough vape try a lower resistance atomizer on it. Different resistances at the same voltage give you very different results.

Yes thanks for your help I've figured it out already. Using dual coil cartos that explains the vape experience between the twist and another batt. Works great on single coil. :D
