Hello!

I was wondering if anyone know how to cut down the PG content on an already made eliquid.

Here is my situation: I bought 2 30ml of e liquid 70pg30vg but i find the throat hit way too harsh don`t like it. I have vaped 50 50 and really liked it.

How do you guys think i can make my 2 70 30, 30ml bottles into a 50 50 mix?

Also what type of glycerine should i get?

thank you very much in advance.

I think the real question here is, "how do I reduce the throat hit"? It's not necessarily the PG, there are several factors at play here. What is the nicotine content of the juice? If you really just want to cut the PG, I THINK you would want to add about 5-6ml of VG. Keep in mind this will also cut your flavor drastically. What resistance are you vaping at? Is it a carto, atty, clearomizer, tank.. etc? What voltage is driving the carto, atty, clearo, tank? You could always try using something that is a higher resistance or if you have a variable volt mod, turn the voltage down. There are ways to decrease the TH without cutting your juice.

Edit: 5-6ml PER 30ml. But then it wouldn't be 30ml anymore, it would be 36ml... So it wouldn't be exactly 50%. Maybe someone else can help you on that one, but I don't think you really want to cut the juice. Not only will you lose flavor, but your nic will be cut too.

I agree with everything that BG said.

Another option to accomplish your goal would be to buy an equal amount of the same flavored liquid in 30PG/70VG and then just mix them together half and half in seperate bottles. Then you would get your desired PG/VG level (Assuming that's actually the problem) without any loss of flavor/potency. Of course, if you don't like it for some reason other than the PG/VG content, you'll then have 4 30ml bottles. :)

I buy my VG from e-liquid vendors, specifically the ones that carry a lot of DIY supplies, mostly because I prefer to support them over something like Wal-Mart. That said, if you only want some to have on-hand and something that you can (probably) pick up locally...

This is the stuff that I used. It's extremely viscous though, you'll probably need some way to thin it down. Distilled water or something of the sort.

Edit: The image is for a 16oz bottle.... that's way more than you'll use in 6 months, even if you're DIYing all your liquid for yourself. It's mostly for illustration though, so that you know what the bottle sort of looks like. It's usually available in a 4oz bottle.
