    ^^-- yeah it has to be either of spitback/spitting or just a difference of sensation in the throat. Also a vape can feel wet if it becomes weak and the atomized droplet size gets larger, or likewise when dialing down a too powerful atomizer.

    The normal irritation of the throat from vaping is weird, it can seem strong but it doesn't get worse with every drag like smoking throat irritation tends to -- it doesn't actually damage anything, it irritates the existing damage. It's more a case of getting through the first hit.
