which level are you using?

is 24mg nic too much for beginner?

Nic level is also depend on how much analog you use per day. If you are heavy analog user, 24mg may just be nice. Highest is 36mg from my understanding

For me on analog lights around 30 sticks per day so I use 16mg for a start and now around 9 ~ 12mg using 5 ~ 6ml per day/

Hope this give you a rough idea of how many ml and mg for started

I think throat hit is also a big factor. Example if you smoke REDS than maybe you will be smoking about 24-36mg so that you will get the throat hit. LIGHTS smoker maybe about 12-18mg. I used to be 5 sticks a day LIGHTS smoker so i am down to 6mg nicotine now, 6mg provides almost zero throat hit to me btw, don't know about others.

True getting throat hit and getting the flavour right is something we aim for

Once hit on throat and flavour the vape is so shiok! Vaping non stop!

I used to smoke about 30 - 40 analogs a day.
I am now on abt 5ml per day mixing the following
Halo Tribeca 6mg
Jade Tiger 12mg

12mg for me is abit too much throat hit if i use a RDA as I used to smoke menthol so I use the 12mg with a RBA and the 6mg with a RDA now

Our consumption of eliquid is abt the same but my Nic is higher

I am poison by RDA abd RBA Ha ha! Poison never end

It's a lot of personal preference - you'll find what works for you.

I went from 20 reds (analogs) a day to 3-5ml 12mg juice/day on my eGo/KangerTech MT3s setup.

I found that i initially liked 100/0 (% PG/VG) and menthol with everything to simulate the TH. However, as I habituated myself to e-juice, the menthol just seemed to wreck some flavours and nowadays I generally avoid menthol unless it's part of the original recipe.

AFAIK juices are generally made in strengths of 6(n)mg, up to 24mg. Getting a few flavours in different strengths will probably give you a good idea of what you'll like.

I do agree that menthol does wreck the taste of "most" favour. Try Strong mint instead.... Best so far... It give you the icy feeling of the menthol but not strong enough to "cover" the original taste.

I have liqua menthol and hangsen mint king, always use them to provide the "menthol" feel to my juice, however if i put too much to make it icy enough, they will cover the flavor of the main juice:(

I was on 20+ sticks and I started off with 3-4 ml of 18mg.

Even with that still suffered withdrawal symptoms, specifically the tightness and slight discomfort in the chest when smoking analogs.

I persevered and I'm now Down to 12mg and whenever I feel a eliquid is not strong enough, I just add some TPA flavoring, including menthol, till it's good.

i am a lights smker, is 24mg too heavy for a start? cos i notice my usual analogs is only 7mg..

my plan is to quit eventually, not getting a new hobby on vape!!

Try starting with 18mg and then like Kryxwee, ween down to 12mg then eventually 6mg then 0mg(but what is the fun with 0mg? :D).

Is there any method to reduce 24mg? Buy vg from baker shop diy?

If you're talking about premixed stuff, be careful when adding diluents. The flavour will turn out weaker.

If you're talking about diy nic base, then you can do what you said there and add on flavourings to your heart's content.

A easy way to start is to see the nic content on your cigarette box and multiply by 10 round up to the next higher available mg juice.

The mg rating on the cigarette box is the average amount of nic the cigarette will yield when it is consumed. Of course these figures are obtained in a laboratory so real world values will differ.

So if you took a blood test immediately after smoking, your TSN value would probably be in the nano-grams or low micro-grams range because now the nic will be expressed as a ratio in relation to your body mass.
