E-Liquid Nicotine Levels

Hey guys I have an important question.

I just recently bought a kr8 kit and got 24 mg strength cartos and eliquid with it. My question is: how does the nicotine dosage level work?

From my understanding, a 16 mg strength eliquid equates to a cigarette but how much of the eliquid is that exactly. Does one drop or one ml of eliquid have 16 mg? how many drops makes 1 ml? and would 24 mg be too much for someone who considers themselves a social smoker? Other stuff along those lines?

If anybody can offer a good explanation (don't be afraid to go into too much detail) I will be ETERNALLY grateful. Its something thats really plaguing my mind, and although PVs are still healthier than regular cigarettes, the nicotine dosage is still a health issue.

You can find out how many mg of nicotine you get from your brand of cigarettes there.

16mg or 24mg really means 16mg/ml or 24mg/ml - and a milliliter is about 30-35 drops depending on the dropper and the viscosity of the liquid (water can be 40+ drops per ml, while a thick goo can be 20 drops/ml).

its mg per ml and Im not sure how many drops that would equal as drop size would need to be established (ie my bottles may give out larger drops) and not vary from YOUR bottle size (you can measure it yourself though if you have a measuring cup that small) but you wont absorb that much - same way you didnt absorb that much from a cig. You actually absorb a fraction of the nicotine, and some recent studies (even though flawed) suggest the PV are very inefficient ways of delivering nicotine. The most effective method is..a cigarette.
I smoked a PAD ultralights and I vape around 1.5 - 2 ml per day. I drip and my eliquid is 12mg. I have NO idea if/how that equates to how I smoked and quite honestly I could care less too
I can breathe my BP is fine and I feel great - thats all that matters to me :)

The nicotine reported from traditional cigarettes is according to a very general measurement criteria and the protocol standards are very typical. Then, the average figure for an analog (full-flavor) is around 1 mg. of nicotine, but that corresponds to the 'intake'; ie. the amount of nicotine absorved by the body from a cigarette. Whereas the amount of nic in e-cigs is that being contained. 24 mg, for instance is 24 mg of nic each ml or what is the same: 2.4 % of nicotine. From that amount a part is 'dismissed' in the vaping processed (not being absorved...) and both the absortion rate and way is radically different from an analog.
Of course, the generalizations will vary largely depending on each smoking habits, styles, and organisms... That together with the different process involved in vaping makes the 'matching-smoking-to-vaping' agenda a bit messy... There are great threads on the technicalities to it within the nicotine sub-forum, but to keep it simple let's just say that there is a natural and very individual learning process you will have to go through as to find your right spot; your body will let you know...

Tough question to totally answer....I guess for me, it was not so much the nic level or how much nic I vape...It was if the nic level I am vaping satisfy my addiction of nic...
For me,,,,24mg was too much (had headaches, stomach aches, dizziness) ...I vape mostly the 10-14 nic level juices...and that works for me....To each their own....Enjoy the Adventure...
