E-Liquid Question

I use 18mg e-liquid. I notice that some tend to hit a bit harder and give a better throat hit. They are both from my B&M. Why is this? I've used the same tank as well so it's not the clearomizer. Some seem more like 12mg and I know they are not.

Are they different flavors? I get fantastic throat hit out of my DIY menthol but...well, it's menthol. It would have great throat hit at 0 mg.

If the same flavor, there's probably a little variance in their mixing methods, or they've been steeped for different periods of time. Liquids tend to lose any harsh notes they have from steeping, so fresh e-liquids will always have just a touch more throat hit.

Some flavors are naturally harsher ie absynth or colas, some are creamy like pastries, some deeper like cigars, etc

If it is 2 different juices, it could be the PG/VG ratio is different in them. More VG = less TH, more PG = more TH.

I tried VG and it was my first time with electric cigarrte and it was really nice expirience

I only vape 100% vg because I have a reaction to pg. I wish I didn't though

Exactly right! Too bad you have to use vg only. If any members have any ideas of making a stronger hit out of pure vg base please post it!

For a better throat hit on the VG, you can up the nic or I have read add grain alcohol.

what makes my juice turn dark right away? i do overuse my e-cig i admit, but used to do 3-4 packs a day . i'm sure i'll be able to cut back later, did drop to 12 mg.

Your juice turns dark because of the gunk build up on the coil, caramelized, then the build up bleeds into the juice. Time to clean the coil, replace the head or re-wick and dry burn the coil.

Interesting, i was wondering this myself.

For example my cola 50pg/50vg 18mg has barely any hit at all.
My blueberry 50/50 18mg, got a little stronger hit. Not enough for me though. I should have ordered them in 24mg nic as my other juices are.

The PG/GV ratio/levels are both the same. They are from the same shop but different flavors.
