Thanks, but I think I'll wait until i get more experienced before I try mixing my own.

Thanks anyway!
Go Cubbies!

Go Cubs!

Just to put your mind at ease. I have only been vaping for 3 weeks. I have been mixing my own for about 2.5 weeks. It is very easy. The flavorless juice is exactly the same juice you buy but with no flavor. You can buy it in the same strength that the "traditional" juice comes in.

I like to buy the 36mg strength. I then mix 1ml of the 36mg juice with 2ml of PG (propylene glycol--very cheap). so now I have 3ml of 12mg (the strength I prefer) juice. The nice thing is I now have 3 times the juice for one third the cost. I really like butterscotch. So now I add the butterscotch flavor from lorann's to the desired level that suits me and voila....some of the best stuff out there. It really is the most economical way to go. I just purchased and extra 150mls of 36mg flavorless juice for $65 shipped. When I get done cutting I will have 450ml of juice for maybe $70 total(including cost of PG).

Here is a great video that can demonstrate what I am talking about

I highly recommend the sampler from PureSmoker :D Its awesome!

Another way to try out other flavors without spending a fortune is to check out the classifieds section on the forum. I've picked up quite a few good flavors from there as well as sold/gave away stuff I didn't care for.

Hope that helps!

I have both of my sample packs and thought I would update this thread with some comments about both of them.

The #1 comment that applies to both is that they were great with the shipping and it only took 3 or 4 days from ordering till I had them.

The pure smoker sample pack of cash liquids was the first to arrive (i ordered it first). It was pretty simple, a white box with the 10 bottles inside. The 24 mg strength packs a good punch and i get a pretty good throat hit from it.

The downside to the PS sample pack is the bottles are clear and I have read that liquids should be kept protected from sunlight so I keep the bottles inside the box while not using one.

I was happy with the PS sample pack but the Johnson Creek sample pack absolutely blew me away. The extra's that come in addition to the liquids look unimpressive in the picture but once it arrived I was quickly impressed.

The juices I got are non-PG 18mg strength. So far the ones I have tried give good vapor and acceptable throat hit but I have to say that if they were put in a direct comparison with the PS liquids they would come just a bit short. I realize this is because the different bases used and if I got PG liquids they would probably be complete equals despite the PS having 6mg per ml more nicotine than the JC liquids. The flavors in the JC are also milder than the PS flavors but again this is a condition of using vegetable glycerine rather than propylene glycol.

I got non-PG because the PG is starting to bother my throat, making it very dry and raw and making my voice very raspy. If you do not have any problems using PG I would suggest going with that instead of the non-PG.

On a plus side the throat hit with the non-pg feels smoother and less abrasive for me.

The plasitc box that comes with the JC sample pack is a really great way to keep all my e-smoking supplies in one place. My gear was starting to spread over my entire desk like a virus but now everything is consolidated into one place.

The tweezer that comes with it is very good quality and feels nice in the hand. The tip of the tweezer is VERY pointed and can really reach inside things well. I was surprised that the tweezer is such good quality.

I have not used the other extras. The funnel I got is plastic not metal but that seems trivial to me. It will still do the exact same job.

The syringe is still sealed and I doubt I will ever use but it is nice to have. The reason I doubt I will use the syringe is because the tweezer is so good I can move the batting around and 'aerate' the batting before filling a cart. By making sure the filling is 'fluffy' before adding liquid I have no problems getting it to settle inside the cart.

The dropper bottle seems unnescessary since carrying the little sample bottles is so easy. I do expect that having a small dropper bottle will come in handy down the road when I start getting liquids in 30ml bottles.

I do not have a pen style and do not plan on getting one so the 5 blank carts are not that usefull but they do have a good amount of poly fill in them so I can use that to refresh my RN 4081 carts.

The smaller plasitc carry case is again something I will likely never use. It would be a nice thing to have if I carried a backpack or some kind of bag but I dont so it is of little use to me. For people who carry a backpack or purse I could see this being a nice accessory to keep all your wares corralled together when you are out and about.

The last thing, that is not even mentioned on the website is it came with one of those rubber wrist band things (lance armstrong thing). I will not wear it but I know lots of people still like those and it is something I can give away to someone else at the LIVC when I go to my fist meeting in two weeks. I like giving things to people, it makes me feel good and the fact that JC supplied me with something I can gift to another person is pretty cool to me.

I am sure your individual mileage will vary from customer to customer but I hope this helps someone in deciding on a sample pack.

I agree with the above sentiments about the Johnson Creek sampler pack. The poster did an excellent job of detailing the contents. I also agree that the plastic container with the snap-on lid was a very nice touch and a great place to keep your supplies.

Of course, of the 10 different flavors not all will be to everyone's taste. I do particularly like the Kona Coffee and the Decadent Chocolate.

As for the small plastic bag that JC includes: we have a vacation coming up and I guess it is a marvy little thing to put my sample bottles in.

Anyway, seeing the quoted post impelled me to sign up and join in.
