E-Liquid Similar to E-Lites Question

Hi All,

Brand spanking newbie here, with a question that is probably asked quite a bit

I quit smoking some time ago now and recently tried E-lites and am loving them to be completly honest, but the price to use ratio is quite similar to actually smoking! Could easily go through 2 refills of the 80 costing me £16 a week potentially which while not the end of the world, seems a little high

Obviously come across forums such as these now and thought I would give some Totally Wicked e-liquid a go. Thing is, I quite like the whole flavouring of the E-lites vape, and the site is talking about flavours and strengths etc. E-lites vape doesn't particulary have a flavour, but the throat hit is really warm and nice, so I assume the natural flavouring was tobacco, so ordered some

Unfortunately, it arrived yesterday and I filled up a cartomiser with it....and it's horrible lol..

I'm well aware that nobody will be able to tell me exactly what e-liquid goes into an E-lite, but is anyone decently close? Anybody found one with a similar throat hit/ experience to E-lites?

Thanks for Reading

Cheers

Never tried the E-Lites so I am not to sure what you may be referring to. If it is a throat hit that you want you may want to look around for some E-Liquid with a higher PG ratio. If it is a tobacco flavor you want look for the NET (Naturally Extracted Tobacco) with a good PG ratio. I hate to be so vague but without really knowing what this taste like I really cant offer much help with it. Look for good vendors and try samples galore and you will find that perfect vape for you.

Oh do some vendors do free samples then? That would probably be best

The tobbaco flavouring is not what I want, it has a horrible taste, probably because I am no longer addicted to ciggarettes but E-lites!

As I said, it doesn't appear to have a 'taste' as such....If I had to comment on a flavour, it would be that it's slightly sweet. I'm using the 'Reds' regular strength.

Maybe best to go with something with a good PG ratio and flavourless? Do vendors do Flavourless?

Hello Bish-Bash-Bosh and Welcome to ECF.

E-Lites are meant to be the UK's equivalent of NJoys.

I don't use tobacco flavours but one of the most popular Tobacco flavours out there is RY4. It has the warmth you mention as well as sweet caramel and vanilla notes. It's not a harsh tobacco vape as some can be. But it does come down to trial and error with flavours.

Liberty Flights has an extensive range of Tobacco Flavours and Brands both domestic and imported. You can get daily discount coupon codes from their FaceBook page. Reviews are listed on each product, this makes it easier to identify which ones are better than others.

This thread has some of the UK Sample vendors: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/371780-suppliers-offer-samples-nic-uk.html?

If you want to DIY your own flavours, flavourart.co.uk sells 2ml flavour samplers you can try.

Hi Bish. I know a bit about E-Lites and never found a flavour comparable to them. I can safely say that in trying over 100 tobacco flavours, the closest I found was not that close. It was a liberty flights liquid by the way.

However, have you considered that long-term use of E-lites might not be a very cost effective method. E-Lites would have cost me *at least* £2,000 a year in e-tips, which are just overpriced cartomisers. I tried refilling E-Lites before discovering that doesn't work very well, and within about 2-3 months, my batteries barely worked.

E-Lites are very expensive and do not produce the vapour or nicotine of 40 cigarettes. Anyone planning on by-passing the need to to buy refills is in for a depressing shock. Sorry to be blunt, but they are really, really poor and one of the worst products on the market.

This year, they will make £20-30 million from people who are keen to give up cigarettes and try e-cigs. They might have produced the ultimate money-making brand, but the cost of the product is higher than all the other companies and people just fall for them.

Caveat Emptor - buyer beware.

Thanks for the info, I might have a look. Still under the impression that the E-lites Cig is flavourless, but warm/sweet

Need a person who's tried one!! :p

E-Lites is/are NOT flavourless. However, trying to recreate the exact flavour is very difficult. Whatever you need to know, please ask.

I love the e lite flavour but I am having a nightmare getting reliable refills. Some are dud. Some last a short time and occasionally I get a good one. Max 15 cigs. I have tried lots if different makes of e cigs, carts and liquids. Some taste horrible. Liberro simply vapour liquid is a very close match to e lites and the only one I use now. I refill my elite carts and jacvapour blank carts. I can't really tell the difference between that and e lite ripoff carts. I work the cost out to be approx 30p per cart.

Hi B-B-B! Welcome to a great forum and congrats on giving up the nasties! Your body will thank you and so will your friends.

I favor the tobacco flavors, with a hit now and then of vanilla or butter rum, so I carry a 510 with me for the alternate flavor, also for when I want to be a bit more discreet. I am not familiar with what's available in the UK, but I have learned something about flavor - it's totally subjective! I'm lucky to have one shop owner locally who mixes juice right in the store, so can get exactly what I want. He offers about 200 flavors, and I only care for a few of them. But I surprised myself at the flavors I do like. I bought a bottle from another guy because it is his favorite all-day vape, and to me it tasted like an ashtray and smelled like cat pee. Awful!

Bottom line is that you will find your own favorites, and there is no substitute for experimentation. Again, welcome and let us know how it goes with you!
