Ok it sounds like a daft title.

I have been vaping for a year or so now on and off. I have never managed to drop ordinary cigs yet though completely. I smoke about 20 ordinary cigs a week. most of the time I am ok just vaping.

However, I like a beer or 8 maybe twice a week. When have a drink the E Cig just does not cut the mustard for me. After a few beers if I have a proper cig I get a real buzz. Basically I get high for a few minutes. Love that feeling. So as a consequence I still smoke when having a drink.

Whats the answer? Have things moved on and is there a liquid available now that does the same thing? I am in the UK so if such a liquid exists I would hope I could get it here.

Its probably just me so maybe not. :D

I had the same problem at first. I would pretty much chain vape (and still do) which kept the craving at bay. You might need a juice with higher nicotine for when you're having drinks. I don't know what flavors you vape but maybe finding a good tobacco flavor or a flavor that goes well with your beer could also help.

Good timing, as I'm having the same issue. I have family in town visiting and I needed something that would keep me from that smoke when I drink. I got a small 10ml bottle of Charlie Noble Tripoli the other week and it worked. None of that overwhelming sweetness that some of my other eliquid has and a good throat hit. I'm going online to order more because this kept me from wanting a cigarette with my alcohol tonight and I've been looking for this answer for a long time.

Thanks. I already smoke the highest strength 24. Just doesn't do it for me. I suppose its not a major issue as I am quite pleased I can go all day without a proper cig. I wonder if I should try reducing my normal "day" cig level to 18 or 12ml of Nicotine and just try the higher one when boozing. Do you still get the same throat hit with lower levels of nicotine though or do you just end up vaping more?

I tend to smoke menthol and the juice I use is pretty authentic and certainly works for me during the day, until I decide to go on the Lash (Thats UK speak for getting hammered) :D

You should have a look at WTA maybe. This is a good description of what is it http://vaping.com/guides/wta-eliquid. You could limit to using it only when you want to go for the analog. I remember I searched once and found one web-site which sells WTA in the UK. I could look it up again if you are unsuccessful.

Thanks for that. I can only find sites in the USA such as this one Whole Tobacco Alkaloid WTA Eliquid Ejuice

If you can find the link to the UK site I would appreciate it. I suppose I can order from Aromaejuice assuming they deliver to the UK but it would be better to have a UK supplier. It would seem that if anything is going to come close then WTA may be it. Worth a try. Not sure what the differences as between VG and PG though, will that make any difference?

No problem. I did look but I think I might be mistaken because I couldn't' find a UK vendor. There is another US vendor which shipping starts at $12, maybe that helps you a bit but I don't know how much you pay in customs :). Anyway, it's also less expensive @$19 per 30ml bottle and they have an offer for a 50ml bottle of 36mg for mixing yourself (just add PG and VG) and that would cut costs further. If you need a mixing calculator let me know as there are a couple around here. Here is the website WholeCig and here is a small thread of someone who bought it and some pointers http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...360-wholecig-100-unflavored-wta-e-liquid.html

For your question. VG is plant made glycerin and PG is synthetic glycerin. VG is sweet and can hide flavours and also more viscous and can decrease wicking on certain atomizers, especially chinese silica wicking atomizers. When vaporized VG also produces much more vapor than PG. PG is the opposite, it has neutral taste and is more fluid, therefore not changing the taste and helping wicking too. These are the main reasons anyone would choose their ratios of PG and VG. Also it seems that more or less of either PG or VG creates different irritations for different people, so they tend to stay with either mainly PG or mainly VG but that depends on the individual. If you are in a situation to choose your own amounts, start with 50/50 and experiment from there like 30/70, 70/30, 40/60, 60/40 pg/vg or other ratios until your satisfied.

Thanks very much for this informative reply. I posted on a UK forum and I dont think they know what I am talking about. It clearly has not reached the market here yet which is quite typical. And to think we used to make stuff that you guys used to rip off and copy! :D

Will see what the costs work out as and time to ship from US.

Thanks again
